I suppose the next question is, if you arent having playing the game, you arent having fun discussing the game, and with a host of non wow options for hanging out with friends

What still brings you here? It cant be the community because you only interact with your personal circle, or the game, or the good times

Because I feel like it, nor do I have any desire, inclination, or responsibility to justify how I spend free time to you.

Dont like reading something? Dont read it.

I mean, “dont like something dont read” it could apply to a lot of people.

Im only concerned because wow seems to cause you a significant amount of grief and aggravation

And holding that stuff in is both unhealthy for both your body and mind. I think you would be a much healthier individual if you stopped treading water in your own mind.

But, this post will only receive some variation of “bUt WhAt AbOuT yOu” so i guess im also crazy for thinking about others mental health

Me being snarky in my down time at work is not the same thing as being something that causes me

Nice try though

That’s a weirdly stark view to have when we all exist in a reality where there is an entire industry built around people who love to watch bad movies just to make fun of them.

And that’s to say nothing of the unique situation that player involvement brings to WoW. I hate the story, but I’m still pretty deeply attached to my characters, which brings up some pretty complex feelings about the game as a whole that I don’t often mention because talking about the game itself is a lot easier.

Pretty much this. There have been more than a few time I’ve been tempted to return because I love my chatacters.

Its mostly Blizzards ineptitude that keeps me from doing so.

Theres being snarky in your downtime and spending 100% of your forum time rallying and preaching to the choir

If you dont like it, dont read it. Youd probably be a happier person if you stopped tunnel visioning on what upsets you

No thank you

Even people who love to make fun of bad movies watch different movies every once in a while

Tell me about your ocs

People still rewatch The Room, and it hasn’t gotten a sequel every two or three years.

Than I guess its super great that I spend my free time at home playing games I love and talking to my friends in those games and spending time with my family.

Please we all know you sit in a featureless room waiting for the next issue of sylvannas weekly to be slid through a slot in the wall

Interesting theory you have there, please tell me more.

My wife and daughter will be interested to learn they dont actually exist.

I think thats a poor choice because while the Room is bad, people love it. They laugh, they cheer, they recite lines endlessly. They celebrate its disaster.

What youre looking for is closer to some dude on twitter posting 4 times an hour about how the last jedi is an abomination to the star wars canon, killing his childhood, and how rey is absolutely a mary sue and awful and how the real hero should be poe for standing up to purple hair sjw

So pointing out Blizzards innumerable failings is analogous to insane rants from the alt right?

Well that’s certainly an interesting opinion

Hyperfixating on any medias shortcomings and narrative failings to such a degree is bad yeah. I hate the rise of skywalker but ive held strong on refraining letting snarking consume all my time

Go spend time with your family

Sure, I’ll just wiggle my nose and teleport home instead of my usual commute

You can pretend you only post at work but you post pretty regularly across the day and into the night, meaning that yeah, youre like this at home too.

Anyways, everyone tell me about your wow characters

Lets start some positivity

You know for someone so concerned about hyper fixation your fixation on proving I’m unhappy, unhealthy, and obsessed seems quite unhealthy.

You should get out more
