8/27 change to explosive shot

Did you guys see the change to explosive shot procs for SV?

Seems like a nerf

    • Survival
      • Grenade Juggler Explosive Shot procs no longer proc from Explosive Shot.
      • Grenade Juggler now procs from Wildfire Bomb casts rather than on damage dealt (after a brief delay).
      • Relentless Primal Ferocity will now increase the effectiveness of existing Tip of the Spear stacks when the player casts Coordinated Assault and will appropriately remove the bonus when Coordinated Assault ends.

grenade juggler giving explosive shot a chance to proc itself was a bug. the tooltip has only ever said it gives wildfire bomb a chance to proc an explosive shot

the RPF change feels like they’re making it work more intuitively. honestly i hadn’t even realized tip stacks you had before hitting CA weren’t buffed. this change does have a potential knock-on effect for the bombardier explosive shots, but since those are outside of CA’s 20% damage buff and grenade juggler also has a bug where procced explosive shots eat a bombardier stack, i’m not sure we would have wanted to try having two buffed tips for them anyway
