8.2 > 8.3?

I think so. Feel free to change my mind.

Say what you will about Nazjatar or even Mechagon, but the two zones and their respective content was, in my opinion, more fun and engaging compared to 8.3’s assaults and visions. Essences aren’t account wide, which is awful, but that’s the primary issue with essences altogether.

Although 8.2 even ended with an underwhelming cinematic of N’Zoth’s release, 8.3 ended with the worst cinematic in all of World of Warcraft history, period. An awful taste to end such an expansion. Normally, I’d call this a slap in the face…

But I’m not sure it’s even that.

I like 8.3 for obvious reasons.

Honestly I won’t even get to the real 8.3 meat & potatoes content until I’m at 120. Enjoying my Azeroth World Tour though! :beers:

I like 8.3 more, but I never went to mechagon to be honest. Didnt like nazjatars layout it was hard to get places.

This is one that I hear quite often. And, while I agree with it, I feel biased because I unlocked flying as soon as possible to avoid that issue with the zone.

I will half way agree with you. To be honest prob by next week I would have cleared the raid. The “New areas” I like but there isnt enough reason to be in these zones. You can clearly see they were rushed to drop this patch and they dropped it incomplete. Im still in 8.2 zones working for the meta achivment which is so much more fun. I also feel ripped off with how Nzoth saga came to an end but there is whispers it could be more but well see.

No, that’s okay. You’re allowed to have your opinion.

I do like Uldum and the Vale, an can even appreciate doing content in those zones. That’s fine with me. I just don’t feel they are necessary pieces to the puzzle.

I’d like to take some time to do the Mecha-done achievement, but I will do that another time. Regardless, the N’Zoth saga did end abruptly. He’s my favorite Old God, and I wanted more even if it meant him dying.

For what it’s worth, there’s always something extra in the Mythic fight even if it’s simply a mechanic. Maybe we’ll see a new cinematic this time, hm? We will see.

Thank you!

I enjoy 8.3 much much more. Working to get flying was not fun, neither was navigating nazjatar without it. Also doing the essence grind for the first time before they were all nerfed was also not very much fun.

I’m really enjoying everything 8.3 has to offer, the cloak isn’t hard to keep up with and the assaults are fun for me. I’m not getting annoyed a quest item won’t drop for them like everyone else seems to be.

I was not so lucky with the flying. Having started up WoW again in mid-BfA my reps were low for a rather long time. I would likely have had a much more favorable opinion of Naz had I been able to fly rather early on.

Mechagon was awesome.

Visions are good.

I agree that 8.2 was better than this.

I enjoyed 8.2 and am currently enjoying 8.3 to my surprise. I was gone for a year before 8.2 though so I’ve had it easy.

Dunno how everyone went without pathfinder for so long but I do know I missed out on some good wpvp

Fair point, but I still stand by the fact that once you have flying, the zone is infinitely more enjoyable.

Also a fair point. Though, I don’t personally care about essences because of that reason. While I find it to be a shame that I don’t -want- to have better essences, not wanting to unlock them on each alt made me just avoid them altogether. If they get into my bags, great. If not, so be it. That’s on Blizzard for making the system so awful.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy 8.3 in its own right. I just have a soft spot in my heart for 8.2.

You and me both.

I absolutely loved Mechagon. Easy to navigate and boat-loads of fun; Especially with all the goofy tinks-and-such.

I did some wpvp day 1 of 8.2. It was TONS of fun, but quickly died out when people started getting frustrated with Nazjatar. Difficult enough to navigate it, right? Worse when you’re getting gang-ganked all day after getting chased by twenty elite Naga.

8.3 is a buggy mess right now. 4 updates due to bugs and this is only week 2. So honestly i would prefer 8.2. I think the reason a lot of people like 8.3 was solely for the Mechagnomes and Vulpera.

I can appreciate Blizzard when they do their best to fix things, but 8.3 has been really whack with all these random updates and server-drops. Midway through a vision or a Mythic+ and you see in your chat box, “Server Shutdown in 15:00.”

Thanks Ion.

But the bugs were fixed, right? Did you lose out on anything because of the bugs? Bugs happen, it’s part of the game.

6.2 > 8.3

change my mind you can’t

Anyone saying Nazjatar is better than this patch… did you even play 8.2?

People had been wanting to see Nazjatar and Azshara forever… and Blizz essentially turned it into a WQ zone where you level a stupid AI. That was it. Nazjatar offered nothing special. It was just implemented as a steeping stone to PF2. That’s it.

Mechagon was fun and enjoyable, but unless you’re an achievement hunter, it didn’t offer much past just being another rep to lvl.

8.3 brought more zones that are just Dailies/WQ’s, but at least I don’t have to lug around a dumb NPC (so that’s already a plus). Visions, while not perfect, are a decent product imo.

Opinions are opinions. But I definitely would not say Nazjatar was better than… anything really.

8.3 was butchered and cut to pieces of course 8.2 would be better.

Nazjatar and Mechagon is a lot more fun than the visions and assaults of 8.3

I think 8.2 was the best patch of the expansion

my favorite part of 8.3 is that the content takes me back to old zones, where i have master flying, and particularly old zones where content was just not there anymore for. id like more of that kinda stuff please, give me a reason to go back and enjoy areas ive long forgotten.
alsoi still dont have flying yet so new areas are a exercise in patience
