80 renown transmog doesn't work?

I grind out my renown to get level 80 and unlock the transmog for an alt. I go and get on it, and get up on my yak…it appears in the list of sets but if I click it nothing appears, it just wont apply to anything…I’m really hoping this is just one of the many bugs right now?

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding you, but I think the way it works is different. Getting 80 Renown allows you to use that covenant’s transmog and titles on that character without being a part of that covenant anymore, not your alts.

That said, I think if you take the alt and simply make them that specific covenant (even Renown 1), they’ll see all of the unlocked xmog that your main unlocked on that covenant. That alt will need to be Renown 80 on that covenant though to stop being a member and continue to use it though.

I saw on another forum discussion that getting to 80 would unlock for all my alts…and it shows up on them, it isn’t greyed out. Some will say “you must be __ Level” or something similar if not useable, this is showing as if I could equip it, but when you click it nothing happens.

I don’t think this is wrong; I think it might be incomplete. I believe the full wording would be:

getting to 80 would unlock for all my alts that are that covenant

Do you have a level 50+ alt you could test with? Pick a covenant on them in which your main has achieved Renown 80 for that covenant, and see if it lets you use them then?

Nah I’ve used covenant tmogs on lvl 48 characters that weren’t a part of any covenant

Getting to 80 renown unlocks transmogs for that covenant account-wide, regardless of which covenant the other characters are in.

Make sure the refund timer on the pieces isn’t still active on the character you bought the transmogs on.

If transmogs are available and aren’t applying, it might be a conflict with an addon. Relog, /reload, or disable them and see if that works.

So…i disabled all my addons because I have no clue which would be affecting something like that and now I can see that it requires 48 -_-

So many issues with addons…think I’ll just play without them for now…
