I’m pretty maxed on gear and boy did I get roughed up trying the 8 masks on storm wind. In particular the entrance to the mage quarter zone just has enemies that seemingly keep respawning which is just a nightmare if hogger spawns.
Was it this hard back in bfa?
at first yeah but eventually it got easier over time in bfa. the corruption procs were pretty pimpin back then lol

I saw in another thread that those enemies are actually finite, but there just quite a few of them constantly patrolling around, so in theory you can just stand while they come to you
Ghastly Goulash food was also recommended, since it gives 2% HP Regen per second while in the vision for its well fed buff
8 mask can be rough but while it seems like you’re on a strict timer, if you have all the sanity drain protection available to you right now (50% from cleared wings + 40% from tree) then I would say to take it slow and steady since to put it into perspective: if you’re killing 25 enemies every 2 and a half minutes, then you’re technically going positive with Nemesis at Elite Extermination tier 3 if you’re making less mistakes with sanity loss mechanics
If there’s too many for you at the entrance, back up into the canals.
