Really enjoyed tww, both seasons. I may have done too many keys, feels like time to take a short break this patch and play hard again for the next expansion. Met all my goals this season and not feeling the motivation to grind gear and io again this season. Will probably be more chill this patch, who knows maybe it will change in a week or two, I always seem to be burnt out towards the end of the season, maybe it’s just the prospect of regrindning gear again, which although I enjoy, feels like a good time to put it in a slow down a bit for what’s left of this season for QP. Hope everyone enjoys patch day, off for work for a bit this week so i will keep cruising the forums to see how the patch launch is going.
For everyone else, gonna get your (6+2) for your mythic 0 vaults?

Yeah planning on 8 M0s and 8 delves for 6 chances at hero tier gear in the vault.
I’ve been mostly taking a break for the last 5ish weeks so ready to go.

I used to push early PVE season so crazy hard.
Nah, not anymore. Literally no reason to. Later in the patch you can complete everything 10x faster, and generally speaking, have a better time doing it.
I’ll still pvp day 1 of course, but that’s always the same animal.

Unpopular take, but I wish they would time gate the living crap out of mythic+ for the sake of competition. I’ve lost almost all interest in the game the past few years due to this not being in place. Most of the competent players degen at a level a normal person simply can’t pull off, then good players get stuck playing with scrubs. Then you have to play the number simulator game to get a few of the leftovers like yourself in a key to get it done. That gets old when you need to do it up to 15x per dungeon

1 M+ and 4 T11s is a good, sustainable pace for a vault target.
Throw in more M+ for more progression and end of dungeon loot rolls but I’m not gonna sweat getting 4 or 8 for vault.

Oh you’re right, its 4/8 691 champ gear. Ah well, at the beginning I’d still take a champ tier set piece.

I enjoyed M+ for 1 season of Legion, and for 3 seasons of BFA. After that I was just done. Only do it because I felt like I had to for vault.
Every new dungeon that comes out… write my own personal guide for the entire dungeon. Every single mob ability. Horrible. At high level keys you just can’t afford to not know exactly what every debuff, voidpool, enrage and buff do, which of them are dispellable and all.
M+ made me a vanilla zealot.

I love delves so my first week plan is 8 T11s/8s and a world tour of M0s on my hunter and maybe 2 alts if I feel up to it. At this point it’s mostly fishing for tier.

Ahh, finally someone brought this up.
I’m starting to notice a pattern in this game though. The people who do 800 keys a month are burnt out and bored and won’t even launch the game and the people who just level and gear alts play the entire time and never burn out. Hmmm, very interesting pattern.

Planning to do my break as an ultra casual this season too.
Delver 1 char. LFR’er another character. Maybe weekly quests but that would be pushing it (with my current time)

Do tier 8 delves reward hero vault this week? That would be strange considering they capped us at mythic 0’s.
The vault says 694 in the T8 delve slots. I’m assuming its the normal 1/8 hero 694 and not 5/8 champ 694. But I guess I don’t know that for sure.
I’m not normally one to dramatize mistakes as malicious, but if it it were 5/8 Champion that would be extremely suspicious considering that Blizzard basically said that the only thing missing from Delves is bountiful.
They would have had to change how the vault works without documenting it for it to not drop hero track and considering that basically EVERY guide has been telling people to do Delve 8s, there’s no shot that it wouldn’t have been on Blizzards radar.
It’s a very safe assumption that it will be Hero Track, NOT 5/8 Champ.

I tried to sit down and do the quest line today and it’s sooooo boring. How do you people like this junk?
The entire quest zone area is just sand and purple rocks! It’s hideous and the entire quest line is just flying from one spot to another and talking to people. It’s not engaging at all, even the quest mobs die in like 2 hits. Who is this for? Where is the fun! Questing used to be fun, at least it was for me back in Wrath and Panderia! The quests used to expand on things and would set a narrative in motion. Now the game is soo dumbed down, its just a chore to play through. Don’t even get me started about the storyline, you’re prisoner. You’re not a player who is embarking on a journey anymore, you’re a pawn of blizzard for the new few hours while you zoom around a bunch of rocks with sand on them while your disdain for the colour purple grows with time. I used to love the colour purple, till they assassinated it with this expansion.

I don’t like it. I did it for the same reason I work a job, it gave me something I need to continue on in the paradigm.
In life it’s money, in the game it was the dumb wraps that they force on us every expansion now.
Every expansion now has some kind of mcguffan item you equip that is tied to a bunch of random crap no one cares about lol. It’s just funny at this point.
PVPers should have their entry level gear mailed to them. The wraps should be acquired by just running a dungeon.
Valorstones should come from things we like doing and not from world quests. You can just go on and on.
The questing in this game is nonsense also. When the quest involves “Stay a while and listen” I just wanna throw my monitor out the window, it’s so dumb.
If I were playing any other game and the quest was “stay a while and listen” and then it advanced into more dialogue, I would alt f4 out of the game or I wouldn’t own it in the first place. WoW gets a pass because I’m already playing it.
