Why don’t people just not worry about Tuesday and be in a such a rush, it will be up when it is up. You will have the next 4 to 6 months to play the same ol content and get everything done.
One of their best albums. Personally, I love “In Search of the Lost Chord”.
I got to see them in Vegas, almost ten years ago. Unfortunately, it was after Ray Thomas passed away. But the girl they had touring with them, was amazing.
They were my first concert, when I was a little kidlet in the late 80s, my mom took me to see them. I don’t remember much, but I’ve always enjoyed that album in particular.
Going to listen to that now, thank you for the suggestion!
My favorite song on that album is…
House of Four Doors
It’s one of the most amazing pieces of music I’ve ever heard.
wow, the first track, Departure, is wild. this will be good…
oh man, the second track is a classic!
hell yeah, I’m back in Haight-Ashbury
I love the Moody Blues. My uncle (God rest his soul) got me into the psychedelic rock and prog rock.
Enjoy.
I’m an SF girl. Fifth generation. It’s a pretty awesome place.
this is awesome
I love SF. I’m an LA boy, first gen. First gen west of the mississippi.
I know we had a good debate/discussion earlier, and you’re still good people.
The funny thing is that despite it being common knowledge (by now) that the servers are typically down until like 5-8 PM on these kinds of release days, there’s actually STILL going to be a few people taking PTO days or calling in sick
…and the clickbait “maintenance extended again??” threads that inevitably pop up these kinds of Tuesday are so predictable at this point
You’re good people too.
I try not to take offense to what’s said to me on the forums… unless I’m insulted with a name slur.
But, you’re pretty awesome.
My husband is from SoCal. I actually go to LA often for doctors appointments. Closest VA hospital.
Not true. Most of WoW’s extended patch day maintenances finish well short of their posted time. Yes, 11.0.7 (or was it .05?) went over, but that was unusual. I’d be willing to bet dollars to donuts that if you were to total up all the times extended maintenance went over vs finished early/on time over the last 10 years, you’d find that they meet their deadline far more often than not.
I wonder if Blizzard keeps that as a stat somewhere?
the forums wont be affected during the maintenance.
it never has, never will be
Yes. They do. It’s more than likely a part of performance evaluations. Or would be, if it were my department. But I’m old school.
Blizzard could make a giant “THE GAME WILL BE DOWN FOR 8 HOURS ON TUESDAY” message pop up every 5 seconds in-game on your screen for 5 minutes.
And this forum would still be flooded with “Why do we still have maintenance?” “Why weren’t we warned in advance? I took time off my job for the patch!” etc.
that’s wild! with Travis and Beale in the north you’d think there’d be a VA there.
Second closest is Lemoor near Fresno. I’m smack in the middle of the two.
It’s rough, but I am also retired Navy…so, I get Tricare. Thank God.
That’s still a long haul from the Bay.
Unrelated to the topic, my apologies to others, but I’ve always loved working with Navy ATC. I used to fly all over the Pt. Mugu airspace in SoCal, and they were absolutely pro with a beautiful dash of “managed outlaw.”
I was giving a checkride back in what feels like a lifetime ago, and my checkee failed to switch to local tower frequency (and ultimately I failed to jump in), from Pt Mugu TRACON (terminal radar control), well, we’re short final, and Pt Mugu calls up “you’re cleared for the low approach at (that airport),” which is an airport’s control tower thing to do. They had our backs all the way down.
(also Legend of A Mind is so psychedelic to me)
I, too apologize, to others in the thread.
The best time I had in the Navy was being flown off my carrier and home.
Btw, I now live near Arvin CA. Thankfully I am out of the city and in wide open spaces.
The city was fun when working and when I was younger, but now…I enjoy being home with the hubby.
Yeah, we’re totally friends, now. You can’t get rid of me. Lol
right next to some of my favorite roadways i’ve driven so far: Highway 14 and US 395
I really appreciate the respect. You have mine.
And wow, Voices in the Sky is another great track. I think it’s amusing - in a respectful way - that you’re schooling me on what may well be considered non-conservative music.
I’m a hippie at heart. I may be conservative, but I’m actually an open-minded conservative. I don’t base all my decisions on whether or not my “party” approves.
Heck, I just went and saw Garth Brooks in December. Last I looked, he was on a ban list…idk.
It is what it is, I guess. Lol
Now I must get on my Alliance alt, Morwenna. Husband wants to quest. Lol
