I know you all will reply saying this and that. I’m not here for your responses.
Thanks!

If you aren’t here for anyone’s responses, then why are you posting about it?
Sending in a ticket is the only way you’ll get them to look at your account.
Sorry I’m not here for your responses
in the future, you can buy the arrows from vendors in the alterac mountains as opposed to going into the bg.
Doubtful- nobody gets suspended for afking out of a BG, thousands of players do it every day.
It’s inconvenient, though…queuing and afking out is much easier and I don’t think it violates any rules.
Yep
Trollololo
I have afked out of so many bad pug bgs that if that was bannable blizz would never let me play;.
Did you use any of the jump/special hiding spots when playing WSG?
I have a friend who had the same issue who states he has always been active in AV and was convinced he was reported for his jumps while WSG flag carrying. So he doesn’t play WSG anymore.
With that being said I do always say in games to report AFKers and people not participating since I know suspensions are happening. AFKing out after buying arrows is just like AFKing out after getting buffs - very common and not a big deal. Usually the bans come from reports so as long as you weren’t sitting in front of the guy for 10 minutes straight that is really odd.
this and that.
What was the reason they cited in the ban?
Did you mention in chat that you were gonna afk? Maybe you got spam reported
Offense: PvP Non-Participation sounds like they nailed it, especially if you were reported. Buying the Arrows, then immediately AFKing out shows intent. It wouldn’t surprise me if more people started getting Bans for that. Especially if there are a lot of people doing it.
So… what exactly are you here for??
Thousands of players AFK out of matches though- just think of it this way, if AFKing out of a BG got you suspended, why bother with a deserter debuff at all?
No question he deserved the deserter, as any do- a suspension is fishy. Then again, Blizz loves handing out suspensions to everyone except the obvious bot trains covering half the open world.
Maybe the Deserter debuff is meant as a warning: if you do it a lot, you get suspended.
A suspension for leaving a BG doesn’t seem right, but blizzard’s auto system will no doubt do it if you get reported enough. They should reverse it IMO.
Another question do you name-call when doing your WSG games when you think people are doing things wrong and otherwise act toxic? I know of some people who got suspended and don’t know why but they admit to getting quite angry in chat. Now does this warrant anything outside of a chat ban? Not at all… but false reports happen.
This is the one.
Talking about punitive actions taken by Blizzard here in the forums is against the Forum Code of Conduct. Posting from a second account or having someone post on your behalf after being silenced is also against the Forum Code of Conduct. Seems like you’re trying to set yourself up for a permanent vacation.
I didn’t know until I had a post removed. They sent me a link to the CoC and I read it. This was about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
