8.3 PTR Datamining SPOILERS

For some reason the N’Zoth’s Eye art has the number 3 on it.

Confirmation Magni gets Fearbreaker back from Anduin, Algalon is apparently bored, and the dwarf clans are open to peace with the Horde but swear to bring the hammer down if the Horde starts a new war.

Do you think we should tell Magni and MOTHER who made the forge of origination become deactivated?

Never let a “historian” / archaeologist press random buttons on titan consoles, they may nearly destroy the whole world.

But I bet blizzard is going to retcon who deactivated the forge of origination. They love to retcon things for no reason.

Already datamined text shows that they assumed the Amathet did it not Brann. Our characters tell everyone very little despite the fact that people from real life in the same situation would blurt out everything they know just to prevent problems.

A Shadow Priest in real life would mention to their leaders that the Old Gods have masters(since Xal’atath blurts it out) and that Dimensius was a manifestation of one of said masters.

Sylvanas might already know yet Anduin wouldn’t and it wouldn’t be hard to get him to authorize the interrogation of a couple of Void Lords demanding to know everything they know about Old Gods!

They would after hearing Alleria’s statements in the Battle for Lordaeron even ask Alleria the details of her meeting with Sylvanas and more importantly the Whispers, what they say and whom they come from(N’Zoth as shown by 8.2.5 and 8.3). They would insist that Alleria ask N’Zoth the name and details of the true enemy Sylvanas serves.

His panic over Sylvanas would be enough to get him to blurt out what he knows for sure. The information would be written down in records for later.

Furthermore when Xal’atath mentions the Naaru being beloved brethren a real life Shadow Priest would demand to know what she means. They would also demand answers concerning the Tauren’s origins as well as who came before the Draenei.

Sure she’d give half truths like all Void Entities yet at least the Shadow Priest will have something to put in history books.

Another day, another PTR update.

That sounds familiar, wonder if it’ll actually happen next time?

On the plus side, at least they have the Alliance reacting in a bunch of different ways instead of everyone hiveminding behind one reaction.

Vexiona: The black dragonflight was unworthy of the master’s gifts. But you can still be of use to him.

I can’t help but laugh.

Dark Inquisitor Xanesh: We knew it would be easy to lure you here. Your obsession with your dragonflight’s legacy will be your downfall.
Dark Inquisitor Xanesh: With your essence, we will raise Nefarian and Onyxia in service of N’Zoth. The black dragonflight will darken the skies once more!
Wrathion: I will see you burn for this!

There’s something fitting about N’Zoth using Wrathion’s obsession against him. And it looks like the legendary cloak is made from the last scales of Onyxia and Nefarian. Furthermore I’m actually impressed that we finally did the logic thing by destroying their remains. Perhaps we’ve learned from leaving the Tidestone unguarded?

N’Zoth Whispers

You are reborn in my service. The priest of a thousand truths.
Come, child of the Void. Your place is at my side.
Your flesh has been reshaped. A vessel for our glory.
Your flesh courses with my power. Every deed serves my will.
Yes, my servant. Soon your final form will manifest.

So are these in reference to those bear the “gift,” maybe to a new raid boss like Dark Inquisitor Xanesh, or to someone in one of the Horrific Visions?

You know it makes me wonder will anyone discover that some of Azeroth’s champions accepted the gift and what not. Though with the insanity mechanic with things I feel that Magni will blame it on that over realizing his ally willing kept the gift.

I figured the “gift” would be removed by the time of, if not when, that cutscene plays where you channel the power of Azeroth to destroy N’Zoth.

I have put them back

Silithus in 8.3?
https://wow.tools/maps/SilithusBG/798/6/-6.211/11.188

What exactly are we seeing? Did a massive upheaval happen due to the Old God corruption being removed from the depths of the earth causing the sword to move?

Seething Shore revamp?
https://wow.tools/maps/AzeriteBG1/798/7/-9.113/3.625

Seems the Sword of Sargeras is getting pushed out of Silithus as the Qiraji are being flooded! The Sword is practically going to be a Zone right in front of Seething Shore!

Are they adding the Seething Shore to the over world? Also, judging by the distances, I think the sword has hit the Seething Shore?

Though I’m more curious as to how the sword moved.

These two links are broken

They work if you stop at format=jpg. They’re screenshots of a WIP Dragonblight map.
