8.3 has been announced and no new druid forms. Man BFA has sucked for druids. Well I guess for everyone.

Druids already have 6 forms (not counting swift flight form for obvious reasons) what more do you want?

Tbh I would have preferred some minor 1-2% buffs to our damage over new forms.

New forms are cool and all, but it’s not something I’d go expecting each patch!

I think druid forms should be able to be done by transmog instead of only by using the weapon transmog. I think thats what op was meaning

That system the have currently is pretty garbage, and I was surprised that it made onto live the way it is. Hoping they fix that stuff up soon, so Druids can mog both their weapons & forms.
I really do think adding a misc slot to the transmog system would help in this regard. Depending on the current spec, it could cover the forms, and other added features for other specs (such as quivers for hunter, or flame/shard/orbs for Mage/Warlock/Priest.

Agreed. iirc they did have some fun kind of form transmog option before locking us into our weapons for our Legion appearances. The fact that they went away from that saddens me.
I’ve started liking my Zandalari, but I would be interested to see what kinds of forms Vulpera could get, if they could become druids.
(That’s also what I thought OP meant originally. Mecha forms for Mechagnomes and foxy forms for Vulpera druids?)

Legion offered no new moonkin forms. Moonkins always get shafted with their forms!

I think we’re fine. Druid forms take a while to make and I’d rather them work on something new or more reasonable to be honest.

We literally just got zandalari and Kul Tiran Druid forms.
The druids of today…(sigh).
In my day, we had our default forms and we liked them all. Yes, even Tauren catform.
That’s why classic exists, I play retail for new content and transmog is part of that. Adding a ton of new cat/bear forms(then removing 20% of them with the mage tower) and not adding any new customization options for Druids other than a $25 race change (which I went for because I’m a sucker) feels bad for an expansion that costs just as much as legion did.
But we are getting a dance for the Hulk Bear!

You mean the ones they promised us with BFA and ended up delaying the release a year into the expansion?
I 100% agree with your statement here sir. That being said I would like to see some more customization options for the forms to make there way into the game. Just so not every troll druid looks like every other troll druid.
Now this is something I don’t feel a need for. That time and effort could be used in making new appearances.
