8.2 Storylines/Characters?

As we gradually get more and more information about 8.2, it is looking to be a HUGE patch with a lot of story content both in Nazjatar and outside of it. So I thought I would create this thread to see what potential characters from your factions you’d like to see appear and do stuff?

Perhaps give an idea about what you would like to see them do/aid in. THIS MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS FROM THE PTR AND DATAMINING.

ALLIANCE CHARACTERS

Lothraxion - He is in a very unique position. He is the only lightforged demon and his army joined the Alliance. I have always loved these unique npc characters, one of a kind on their faction.(Others being Ebonhorn, Rexxar, Varimathras(before he betrayed Sylvanas)). I think it would be cool just to see him aiding in the war effort. Have him take part in the war campaign in some capacity, leading lightforged troops against the Horde. I simply just want to see him appear.

Elder Lusshan - I am not even sure some of you will remember this guy, but he is the leader of the Pearlfin Jinyu who joined the Alliance in MoP. I am saying I would like to see Lusshan because of the inclusion of a brand new Jinyu tribe/subrace within 8.2. I think it would be cool to see the Pearlfin Jinyu/Lusshan aid in helping these new Jinyu…I feel like it would be a lost opportunity to actually have the Pearlfin do something with the Alliance.

HORDE CHARACTERS

Hobart Grapplehammer - He is already seen in BfA, and is a table mission champion. I am saying I would like to see him more in 8.2 because he is the creator of the Giblins, and we will be befriending a group of Giblins when we arrive in Nazjatar. I would just like to see how he reacts, or even helps us befriend them.

Silgryn & First Blade Victoire - I fully expect the Nightborne to appear in force on the hordeside questing in Nazjatar, as the Horde counterpart to Night Elves. Thalyssra is a given, as well as probably Valtrois since she is a champion and Oculeth to portal troops. Silgryn and Victoire are some of the only major Nightborne characters not to appear in BfA, and I think it would be fitting to see them leading the Duskwatch to battle against the Naga in 8.2.

Elder Torntusk/Primal Torntusk - The leaders of the Revantusk forest trolls, they should appear somewhere I feel like. Probably involving the war campaign if we do stuff in the Eastern Kingdoms. Perhaps the Alliance tries to drive them away, and we have to aid them. They are part of the Horde, and the only forest trolls within the Horde. I like seeing the NPC members of the factions in general, it makes them feel like larger, living countries.

Tyrande/malfurion/shandris getting some spotlight.
jaina and anduin being secondary characters in this case.
this confrontation don’t belong only to jaina or anduin simply because azshara is trying to steal/destroy her fleet.
and i would like more about secondary characters such as lucille or taelia.

horde side, thalisra and valtrois. and maybe lord’themar.

also, i am 95 % sure that ashvane is going to be a boss in the azshara raid.

Would it be odd to see if Bannon Stormsong get more story?

Hobart is a great choice.

I hope the Tauren heritage quest reminds us all why Baine was right and Sylvanas sucks.

I would also like to get Vol’jin and Thrall back in the mix.

Sylvanas to be pushed out of the Horde.

And then the Loa hold a contest to see which remaining Horde character should be the next Warchief. :muscle:

The only character that I’m convinced will be there for sure is Farondis.

But I would like Tyrande and Thalyssra to be leading the Alliance and Horde forces against the Naga.
