Why not blizz? Most of us put in daily effort to gear progress prior to 8.2. Now on the eve of reset day I’ve not geared not one ilvl? Who is your intented subscribers are you trying to please? The stay at home play all day neckbeards? Because I send 4-6 hours minimum daily, trying to progress and 8.2 didn’t help. 8.2 is awful.

The off-season is meant for people to come back and catch up so they can go right in to the season 3 content. Gear doesn’t change at all until Season 3 in 8 days.

Also, you have a good few pieces that could be upgraded in Mechagon or Nazjatar, not even counting the possibility of getting a Benthic piece over 400 ilvl, which is definitely a thing.

You are 400 ilvl. I was 415 ilvl going into 8.2. I am now 417 ilvl.
You have a bunch of upgrade chances.

Ya did notice that the ptr release build they nerfed the 415 weapon down to 370, so um… Yeah,

I’ve obtained a few upgrades so far. Mostly Benthic gear. Have gone from 400 to 406. Without instances.
Timeless Isle, Tanaan Jungle and Argus all had gear upgrades literally laying on the ground. The Bentic gear is a downgrade from what I’m wearing unless I want to upgrade it several times. Even then, the ilvl might be good but the stats are not that great. This from a LFR hero that barely does LFR any more. The only incentive to spend time in these new zones for me is to unlock flying.

The stats are random. You can upgrade out with pearls so not sure why people are complaining.
I mean, its a quest reward for a very trivial quest. I don’t think that they should just give away 415 weapons while Mythic BFD is still current content.

I mean, I went from ilvl 390 to ilvl 402 in a week. I can push it higher but it’s kinda pointless when Season 3 is coming next week. Might as well wait and do something else in the meantime.
No, I’m 400. Same as before 8.2. Where are you seeing 406? If I was 406, I would have gotten AotC H BoD.

The person you are responding to are saying that they went from 400 to 406 in 8.2 (not you). Because contrary to your statements, there are a bunch of gear upgrades available.
And no, if you were 406 you would not have gotten AOTC BoD.

If you’re honored with the Rustbolt Resistance you can start making 410 rings and trinkets, so you should probably do that. Also, you have no cogwheels in the mech trinket you do have, so it really doesn’t do anything.

I am not 100% sure I am understanding your post correctly. If you are complaining you can’t make gear progress I sort of agree with you. I am just so not farming those pearls for upgrades so my characters are going to sit in limbo until blizzard puts a catch up system in that is to my liking.
