I redownload all of my addons from curse, then twitch. Twitch says they’re up to date, but WoW says they’re out of date. Any suggestions?
Also, was it just me or was WoW running rather poorly today?

I had the same issues. I kept getting bugs and “LUA” script errors. For me personally I had to go into my interface folder, delete all my addons, then log into the game with no addons at all. I then did a clean logout, went to redownload all my addons up to date and then log in again. From there I didn’t run into any issues but I’m not sure if that’ll work for everybody tbh.
Even without addons there were tons of lagspikes.
Took me over 15 minutes to get out of Legion Dalaran on my hunter. Once Ingot away from high population areas it got better.
Twitch says your copy of the addon is up to date for Twitch - it’s the latest update they have.
That doesn’t mean the addon is up to date for wow though.
Addons have a compatibility code that indicates what wow version they have been updated to support. Wow uses that code to determine if the addon is up to date.
Addon authors will update that code once they release an updated version to Twitch. After a major wow release, its not uncommon for addons to be updated over a period of a couple of weeks - sometimes more than once a day.
Additionally, if there are no changes needed for a particular addon except to update the compatibility code, some authors won’t release an update but will depend upon users using the “use incompatible addons” check box.
Addons like Bug Sack can collect errors thrown by addons and allow you to ID misbehaving ones so you can disable them until you see an update come through.
If an add-on developer doesn’t update their add-on for the latest patch or expansion in the game, there’s bound to be problems. Twitch has nothing to do with the addon developers. Twitch just hosts the add-ons for them.
When I first logged on, my appearances tab was combined with my mounts tab, lol.
I was getting many many lau errors from handynotes and details.
Its annoying but not surprising at all. Typical new patch hiccups.
