8.2.5 VS FF XIV-Nier Automata

Which one do I jump for?

I mean…8.2.5 is around the corner…B…But…Nier automata in an MMO…

One brings me emotional trauma, the other just punches me let you figure that one out…

Idk, someone flip a coin for me.

Edit: Oh, I guess blizzard teleported behind me and said. “Your game, is already patched…” “NANI!?” And 8.2.5 is tuesday…HUH…Well, good timing!

Emille, the poor baby!!!

Nier, if you haven’t finished it yet.

It’d be cool if WoW had a Diablo, SC or Overwatch themed Raid.
It doesn’t need to make sense. Just put Chromie and slap a cheesy story about timelines crossing over.

How about you go to whatever one you are talking about, sounds liek your type of game.

It’s very tough to get into ff14.

It had a great story but that story begins to drag after a while. And to unluck most of the map you have go either level through it all which can be very slow or buy story boosts. There is a 2.5 second GCD on your rotation and while it does flesh out more it still plays slower than wow.

I really enjoy both games it’s just hard to find a solid group in ff14.

Somewhat unrelated, Nier Automata has an excellent soundtrack and I very highly recommend listening to it.

The biggest draw of 8.2.5 will be the 9 minute cinematic runtime wrapping up the war story.

So play Final Fantasy, watch the cinematics on Youtube.

This kept me from playing FFXIV for a long time, until WoW dropped the ball so hard I just had to go and try FFXIV.
The 2.5 GCD cooldown is felt only at the start of the game, afterwards rotations are so fast that you can’t even feel that thing.
Unless you’re a Red Mage.
2.5 GCD is a fake meme.

You already made your decision, based on your failure to understand the definition of “MMO”.

So no need to advertise FFXIV. Just go play it.

Hmmm? What do you mean by that?

Calling one a MMO is implying the other isn’t. Saying either isn’t an MMO is a failure to understand the definition of “MMO”.

At best its making up your own personal definition to make sure one is excluded.

Oh, well, you’re right.
WoW is still a MMO despite it has like 27k players left in every US realm summed up.

If you want to make up numbers. Go for it. But I have no time for that sorta trolling today. Have a good one. I hope you enjoy FFXIV enough to leave the WoW forums.

I’m quoting the numbers which are around the forums, only that.
But it certainly is close to that, Shadowbringers dealt a massive blow to WoW, Classic put the nail in the coffin.

Well, yea, if you want to believe lies and conjecture. But here you are. On the forums of a “dead” game. Seems lively as ever to me.

That’s implying all the WoW players frequent the forums, which is not necessarily true. I’d bet a lot of people don’t look at the forums, and most people who do look at the forums aren’t actively posting.

I like these forums.
Haven’t logged since Dark Shore battlefront fiasco though.
But I do play classic a bit! It’s fun because it still has some RPG elements remaining.
But for serious playing I do FFXIV.
Good lore, good classes, devs listen to their players instead of “WE’D RATHER YOU DIDN’T PLAY DEMONOLOGY”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-4u6gn1r4U

The number wasn’t from the forums but from a Census Addon.

Well I’m glad you feel the need to advertise a different game on a forum for a “dead” game. Enjoy your anime boys.
