7.2 came out 6 months after legion release!!! And people liked legion more and we had more content to do so people felt less bored but in BFA the patch is coming 1 year after release of a disaster, what’s going on here???!

Maybe they thought they had enough content to make it through year one with the 3 raids, IE’s, and mythic dungeons seasons? I don’t know.

So releasing content that isn’t ready would be a good idea in your mind?

Why wouldn’t it be ready if they were capable of releasing double the amount of the content “ready” in less time in 2016 with less tech

8.2 is not ready for release. I would rather them take their time and get it right then to release it when it’s not ready.
What happened in a previous expansion is irrelevant.
Patch isn’t ready. Don’t release it until it is.

because obviously their best devs are working on mobile games and the rest are working on classic and we are left here with 15 devs designing warfronts and islands as major content release

It was also said in one of the Q&As early on that they felt Legion leaned too heavily on its first year with Argus lasting too long. Although it’s not been explicitly stated that BfA is aiming for quarterly alternating major and minor patches, that does seem to be how things are lining up.

Actually don’t release it. I want to finish everything that I care about in retail before classic launches. Only interested in the overarching quest chains of legion and the quests in the older zones right now. Worried that blizzard will pull a cata and remove everything again. That’s why to me it feels like we have almost nothing now, they are working on 9.0 heavily.
I’m pretty sure they are working onmobile games, OW 2, diablo 4 and classic. WoW retail players will get the start craft treatment soon
