8.1: Tides of Vengeance drowning on YouTube

You’re not wrong.

So, because I disagree, I obviously didn’t read it. I guess I put more credence in your opinion than I should have. Carry on with your assumptions and I’ll try to stay out of your less than well thought out threads.

Weren’t you trying to pin the dislikes on Diablo Immortal based on absolutely nothing just a few posts ago? The Runesaber Mount trailer has already proven that angry fans have no qualms with downvoting a poorly thought-out video during one of the game’s worst periods.

That along with the fact the wow’s BEST devs are not working on the game but rather working on a mobile game for you.

I was hoping that 8.1 would bring something exciting after all I just finished finals the week before the update. Anything intresting, however, is scheduled to release in the middle of January after schools started ramping up again.

I never had any issues with legion and enjoyed a spec or more of every class. Right now and what Is expected in the future doesnt look like it will bring fixes.

“Lol dude, it’s just YouTube. Bots, obv. No I can’t prove it.”

“Lol dude, it’s just metacritic. Bots, obv. No I can’t prove it.”

“Lol dude, it’s just the wow forums. Bots, obv. No I can’t prove it.”

“Lol dude, it’s just Reddit. Bots, obv. No I can’t prove it.”

The denial is starting to get ridiculous.

They are deleting comments now.

Wyrmwood’s comment, which was basically a “pass on this,” was at the top.

It is now nowhere to be found. Instead, another highly rated comment, with some ambiguous wording, is talking about WoW Classic in 2019.

Obviously, it means that 8.1 isn’t worth it and instead wait for Classic, but I don’t think the people moderating the comments sussed that out.

Probably the closest thing they could find to a ‘positive’ comment that was liked.

This is just fearmongering, which doesn’t help anyone.
Enough of that BS in the world as it is, lets keep it out of our entertainment too, ok?

There’s no intelligence to be found in YT comment sections.
Even the yellow pages couldn’t help most of those people, but here we are, stuck with them regardless. [quote=“Thelendra-emerald-dream, post:315, topic:39749, full:true”]
I actually have suggested alterations - big ones - on my YouTube video I put at the top. That’s the funny part, but they choose to skip over that fact because it doesn’t further their narrative. I put it there because people were saying I wasn’t giving meaningful feedback. I have. The proof is right there. I did a 4 part series on it. The debunkers were debunked.

Instead of pushing your own channel on the forums, how about providing that feedback directly to Blizzard, or do you really think you’re important enough for Blizzard staff to actually watch through your stuff?

On his personal twitter?
If so, then how about I wait til you finish work, get home, then I come over to your place and start asking for nursing related stuff, that should go well, right?
Now multiply that by 100’s or 1000’s of idiots, they deserve what they got.

Careful with all of that salt. It’s going to increase your cholesterol and with your level of emotion, that could be a disaster for your heart.

The numbers being small would be concerning in itself.

“Eh, no one cares about the game that much anymore so obviously everything is fine.”

The OP’s first mistake was assuming that everybody that liked/disliked the video currently plays the game.

So the amount of dislikes that a kitten video or baby’s first steps video can get…

I’m trying to figure out which players would actively up WoW or join the anti-Blizzard crusade because of the number of likes/dislikes on YouTube about a patch…

You are ridiculous calling out someone as not a true fan just because they found Orcs boring. Also, seems that you are forgetting that we did see Kargath in our timeline: Shattered Halls to be exact.

I also find the whole concept of WoD boring. I find Orcs boring. I find the lore behind Orcs… boring. I found WoD fun in some respects, but it was mainly the environment (treasures)/classes/raiding/gold making, but not its content or anything regarding its storyline (besides the Arrokoa parts).

I only play Horde and I have since WoTLK (technically the end of BC, but I don’t count those days because). I’ve been subbed every expansion. Just thought I need to put that out there before you dub me as “not a true fan” “an alliance player” “someone who doesn’t know/appreciate the lore” “someone who wasn’t playing.” Get over yourself, White Knight.

Dude, you don’t even know what I’m talking about or what you’re talking about. Its pretty clear you just skimmed everything. What you’re saying doesn’t even make sense to what I said.

I think people are mostly venting their frustrations for Blizzard as a company rather than dislike for the patch. I doubt this even has anything to do with patch 8.1, but the negative reception Blizzard got during Blizzcon over games like Diablo Immortal. Sure, you’re going get people pouring onto here saying “No! It got downvoted, because BFA is a dumpster fire expansion. Popular You Tuber #1236459 said so!!”, but those people are just venting. It’s funny cause, if i recalled, there was quite a bit of hype for patch 8.1 before Blizzcon, but now it’s getting downvoted into oblivion.

Except it a small portion of ppl watch them and post likes or dislikes. For 9th update only 10k total of the wow community has responded. Like roughly 5%of total players.

I too have been a GL since 04, so I know your pain, they have screwed things up so bad I and most of my guild are now discussing another game we can all switch to since Bliz hates guilds and raids now. And next patch isn’t a fix.

Raise your hand if you thought BfA is good until you seen how many dislikes the 8.1 survival guide got…

It’s really adorable the HeelsBabyFace guy is just now realizing how much of crappy AAA publisher Blizzard (and Bethesda) are when it’s been patently obvious to anyone with half a brain for about a decade.

It is an adequate sample size. The margin of error would still be within 3-5%.
