8.1 Patch Notes

How and why is there not a definitive page with all of the patch notes listed and updated as they are modified?
It’s like they’re trying to hide all of their changes until patch day so people don’t complain about the poor balancing and over all game design they’ll be implementing.

They don’t usually post patch notes until right before the release. They will be listed on the News page on the main site.

If I recall, patch notes hit about 6 hours either side of when the patch goes live.

It’s useless after the fact. People need time to prepare and adjust their build / character. Or in many cases, abandon their character completely due to the fact that the basic Blizzard employee can’t faithfully complete grade three math equations.

hahahaha! thats funny, oh yeah the patch that only added a selfie patch and twitter integration has more than the one adding islands and warfronts, and you can hate those two things as much as you want, but they are still content, and more content than 6.1

The sad part about this is it’s actually true. The meme patch, when you look at it actually has more content and class fixes than 8.1. Take a look for yourself:

They never give patch notes, at best they give patch highlights.

For unknown reasons there are all sorts of changes in patches they never mention.

That is a wrong and a real slap in the face.

oh boy, twitter integration, a selfie camera that you get from missions that may or may not appear for a while and a new heirloom tab, so much content to do. wow.

A reskinned warfront, two reskinned islands and pet battles.

VS

New Models, Garrison stuff for those who liked it back then, Heirloom Tab, Cosmetic Toy rework, removed the Level 55 requirement to make a DK, graphic fixes, Tertiary stats buffed, talent balance, healer damage buffed, PvP stuff, etc.

We can’t even get fracking class and talent fixes in 8.1.

Just look at the class tweaks in 6.1 and compare them to 8.1 tomorrow. Also remember that we were PROMISED class reworks for Shaman and Priest that are not going to happen. Also 6.1 was marketed as a “minor” patch whereas 8.1 is marketed as a “major” patch.

cool, but that is still not new content that we can play through. those are just fixes and tweaks

so as it stands 6.1 is inferior to 8.1 because there is actual content to play in 8.1

i know, hate bfa as much as you want, but it is still leagues better than wod which will always be the worst expansion just because of 6.1.

we had to wait 7 months for actual content to be added in the form of taanan jungle
