I feel seriously conflicted: I enjoy the experience of being immersed in a graphically attractive fantasy world. I hate the class imbalances that make classes I used to enjoy sheer drudgery. I enjoy raiding and doing Mythics with my guild. I HATE rng especially as a class that has to win the lotto twice to get decent weapons. I suspect, on balance, that what keeps most of us willing to keeping paying and playing is the ability to suspend disbelief for a while and just experience the experience.

Now you can all tell me Iā€™m full of fecal matter. :slight_smile:

The only reason Iā€™m subscribed is that I actually played the first two weeks of BFA and then moved to PoE: Delve when it released. So my mains are horribly behind on everything. Not even done Uldir yet. Not even tourist mode and they were 830 like a couple weeks ago.

So essentially Iā€™ve got a good month or two before 8.1 really kicks into gear. Not a big deal for me.

For those of you who have been playing since August you have my sympathies.

I logged on after the patch hit and did half of one of the first Darkshore quests. I didnā€™t really care to continue because it was just more quests with no reason to continue. I started looking at the gear from the new warfront, and then realized the only gear I cared about was gear I couldnā€™t get from the rares and would have to wait until Iā€™m able to do the warfront scenario to possibly get any of it.

At that point, I stopped caring about the warfront because there was nothing in it that interested me. I was thinking about trying to do the new world boss, but decided I didnā€™t care enough about what he possibly would drop for me to do him. I did get a couple of levels on a new character I made, but then got bored of leveling through something Iā€™ve done dozens of times before and stopped.

Iā€™m not into pet battles, so the Gnomeregan pet battle dungeon didnā€™t really mean anything to me. There was basically nothing motivating me to continue playing 8.1 at that point. Iā€™ll probably try and level some more later, but I have no real interest in doing what new max level content did come out patch day.

Sounds like you just got board. take a break and come back. i do that all the time, i get board close to the summer ( that and i like to be outside during that time anyways lol). i am not telling you ā€œjust quit thenā€ not at all, just sayin i get board aswell especially since iā€™ve been playing since 2005 (wow launched in 2004 lol) so you can imagine iā€™ve seen and done it all in this game. Just take a small break (saveā€™s some money as well) then come back in a month or two.
