I know which option I’d be willing to put money on.
It’s like the ship-ramming maneuver in The Last Jedi. If teleporting bombs into the middle of the enemy is so easy, why hasn’t every army been having its mages do that since the start of Warcraft?
This combined with the hordes loss of the scepter effectively make are 8.0 questing useless, in the long term. Oh well, as these alliance poster are saying clearly we posters who had nothing to do with the deciding of the story and were complaining over the fact it treats are faction like evil minions for the alliance to kill should not complain about all our efforts being wasted for a cool moment for an alliance hero who has already humilated the horde 6 times this expansion, woa be to anyone who dares think the horde has actual losses and that our wins are pyrhhic in anyway, let them be smited into the depths of hell, for clearly the horde players are forbidden from having an issue in a repeat of a plot they hated from 6 years back, we are so spoiled in our desire to have a narrative relevance outside of playing the bad guys to the alliance, for we get the joy of killing our own, it is not like they ruined the horde players hub simply for a raid that the alliance players get to sack it in, nor is it like the playerbase had any real connection to Brill or Undercity. Shun them for their ignorance, shun them for their arrogance! Lady Jaina is all that truly matters, and to oppose her is to oppose the truth! SHUN THEM!
This is a joke right? Night Elves have the gold metal in being humiliated.
Yes because everything is about the night elves, so anyone elses complaints are invqlid.
Hey heres something to ponder, maybe just maybe…
OTHER PLAYERS HAVE A CRAP STORY!
No we do see it happen, Andiun alliance running away from plague and Skeletons. Until Jaina went all Super Saiyan on them. At least in DBZ we have to prep a little for kamehameha. Jaina brings down the hammer in time…
Again no horde counterpart, but I guess it is our fault for picking the horde.
Probably.
Like who on the Horde side since WC3 was such a power house?
Thrall and… yep. Just Thrall.
With Anduin infecting the Alliance with pacifism, it’s nire likely that Jaina will only blame Sylvanas.
No we see plenty of Jaina, just complaining we have no counter part. And that these op heros are a bit over the top. Not just Jaina, Malfurion and Tyrande.
The fact that if malfurion and Tyrande were together they could beat the entire horde army is well just sad. Now Tyrande is even strong, now people are complaining why the horde can even put up a fight in dark shore. see what I mean, these characters without parity is just bad writing. Because in order to have parity to keep the story going they have to keep pulling crap out of thin air.
Wow has failed to develop the horde without it being raid founder. That is why at this point there is no parity between faction, yet people like you keep claiming horde bias.
hey, i remember when that happened! It was 2 sons, though.
Jaina wasn’t this powerful in WC3 either. Her being a super mage is a relatively recent development. In WC3 her most valuable ability was mass teleportation of troops. Beyond that she wasn’t any stronger than the other caster characters like Thrall or Kael’thas.
We also had caster characters who just stopped being casters when they were adapted to WoW. Vol’jin was able to transform Rexxar and company into wyverns in WC3, but he cast exactly one spell in all of Shadows of the Horde. Blizzard re-wrote him to be a melee focused warrior with a small handful of magic tricks despite supposedly being among the most powerful shadowhunters in all troll-kind. The same happened to Rokhan. Shadowhunters were powerful healers and support casters in WC3, but in WoW they are just slightly magical hunters.
Cairne wasn’t just a non-magical warrior either. Tauren Chieftains had shamanistic powers coupled with their raw physical power and could even resurrect themselves, a power that would have been super useful in not being killed by Garrosh.
Kael’thas by all rights should have been a blood elven hero, but since his death Blizzard has refused to elevate any other elven mages in narrative status to fill the iconic elven class of blood mage. It is like having Stormwind and not having a single paladin character in the entire lore, or the night elves without any druids or priestesses of Elune.
Blizzard has been radically dropping the ball in showcasing the Horde magical traditions for a very long time. This isn’t the player’s fault. The Horde has magic traditions and even characters that could be written into relevancy, Blizzard just doesn’t.
Yeah, pretty much.
Why does the Horde deserve any wins? Y’all kicked off the expansion with one of the worst genocides Azeroth has ever seen.
Thank you for having such sympathy for your fellow player akiyass.
It’s not like we chose to have this faction war and hate it just as much as you do.
I get it man, it sucks. But we’re already here. Why are we still keeping score of “Which faction gets the most wins”? It seems to me that even Horde players are not happy with their faction right now… So why do you want to see them succeed?
Because failure is not fun, and so far the horde has only failed and been humilated. Our wins, are often highly Pyrrhic, and we are shamed for winning as well. You say you dislike the night elves being humilaited, that is the same for the horde. Players don’t like losing, and want to root for their side. I don’t want the alliance to win, simply because the things i love about the horde that are left have a chance of being destroyed.
Zandalari Questing isn’t like Kul tiran, we lose in many of our objectives, Mythrax breaks free, the seals are destroyed, and Rezan dies. these constant loses aren’t fun, because in order to root against the horde, we need to root against ourselves. Seeing Sylvanas loose isn’t fun when you are forced to loose alongside her.
You really don’t know what failing and humiliated actually is.
Your side are genocidal maniacs… Which I get, you don’t like and that’s not what you wanted, but it’s the hand you have been dealt. Maybe you don’t want the Alliance to win, but you can’t deny that the Alliance are justified in this war, and the Horde isn’t… You can not deny that if there was to only be one winner, the Alliance is the faction that deserves it. Now Saurfang is aligning himself loosely with Anduin, perhaps it’s time you start cheering on your boys in blue against the person who is truly destroying the Horde, Sylvanas.
I have leveled a Hordie. Rezan’s death actually bummed me out, tbh.
You also have to understand that the Night Elves have been losing and continue to loose for the last 14 years, and it is directly linked to Horde victories. This is the nature of the faction conflict, but the Horde is the only faction with a guy on both sides. Y’all literally can’t lose except small minor things. By the end of the faction war, you guys will have a guy on the winning side, which might not be true for the Night Elves or the Alliance as a whole.
Akiyass the night elves have had wins, just not well written wins and they often are failed to be shown in game though, so i dont blame you for not liking them. I dislike Teldrassil and Theramore myself. Horde has also had a fairly, crap hand for the past 11 years. We want to root for our faction, but ever since burning crusade blizzard has been basicly ignoring us for anything other then evil actions. The one exception to this rule was thrall in cataclysm but he’s now gone and cataclysm was not well received.
And even if we are the bad guys, it doesn’t change the fact this constant demoralization that comes with it should be allowed. It isn’t fun, much like you don’t find the night elven losses or “victories” fun. WoW should be about having fun, and any story that forces half the playerbase into a depressing role should be avoided. I wouldn’t wish for the inverse to happen, i just want to feel like a hero, or at least lack something other then a mook.
Possibly the most condescending thing I’ve ever seen anyone say on this forum. Classy.
Doesn’t make it untrue.
Fine.
I will elaborate.
