This idea and convoluted plot around a 7th cosmic force and the charts provided on Grimoire of the shadowlands and Chronicles, just make me wonder if now they want to mimic DC Comics with their Dark Multiverse idea, on which they did a lot of plot lines around the Multiverse and then the Dark Multiverse was introduced like a concept that flip the Multiverse chart the other way around…
" The Dark Multiverse is a shadow under the primary Multiverse, one formed of every fear and bad decision ever made or dreamt. Worlds in the Dark Multiverse are fragile and constantly deteriorating, inevitably doomed to destruction by their own malformed construction."
You’re overthinking things.
The 7th Cosmic Force is obviously just Microsoft.

I wonder if the seventh cosmic force has something to do with the Devourers.

Damn and I thought the 7th cosmic force was going to be the Cosby crew.

I’ve been reading this like the color black. It is only a color because it is the lack of any color.
Well, there’s lore around a force that wants to consume the other forces… it sounds related.
Hopefully Devours don’t receive the same treatment like Drust… Shadowlands could have more Drust lore.
It does, they’ve had giant serpent swallowing everything references in this expansion.
They could have and they should have. I was expecting a lot more out of a lot of the “side story” content. The mystery of the Devourers, Ve’nari’s story seems to have just ended after Korthia, unless something is in store for the very very end of the expansion… etc etc.
The devourers even have a presence in ZM. All we know about them is that they are creepy and they may or may not be from “the in between”.
Blizzard went hard and heavy into the yin yang, everything needs to be balanced structure. Reality exists as a balance between the six cosmic forces, so I’m guessing there needs to be an “opposite” to reality.
People seem to consistently equate the Void with nothingness, but I’m not sure that’s the right take. Nothingness and “unreality” are probably the seventh force out there.
Why am i fighting a force of nature. How does one kill the death force or the life force or even unite it. Some mcguffin combiner?

Will all of the action sequences be in slow-mo?
Comics not movies haha i was talking about the Dark Nights: Metal arc
Tbh,it is self explained but most people don’t see it .If you viewed the art in ZM you will see the mandala sky everything is centralized the out side reams change but the point center doesn’t.So our existence will change because the center remains the same if we change the focal all existence stops and there will be nothing.
Welcome, snacks are on the table and the drinks will be around soon. Don’t forget to tip your waiter.

Perfect deviled eggs.Well that answer the chicken and the egg argument.
It’s Kingdom Hearts lore all over again.
First there was just an all encompassing darkness, then you had darkness and void as two separate things, then Void became some kind of Anti-Light, and the game became about bringing Light and Anti-Light into balance (Xehanort the retconned final boss suddenly wanting to bring about darkness to combat a greater threat). And then a new threat introduced after 20 years, “unreality”.
WoW is beat for best almost the exact same trajectory except that WoW has Fel. And Zovaal was retconned in the last 2 years of the 20 year story instead of 10 years into a 20 year arc.
Also, both franchises retconned their best villains, Xemnas and Arthas respectively, although I’ll say I think Xemnas got far more butchered by retcons than Arthas. Xemnas’s whole arc was invalidated by being a pawn in Xehanorts 5D plan. At least WOTLK still mostly makes sense after the fact.
Oh wow, a new force headed up by 7, the number associated in formative monotheism mythologies as divine. /sigh
I really wish they tried harder.
But… here we go…
The 7 archangels, the 7 Pillars, the 7 days of passover, the 7 nations, the 7 sprinkles of bull blood, the 7 fold vengeance on Cain, the 7 Days of Creation, the 7 Blessings of the chuppah, the 7 branched candelabra, the 7th son of Jacob, the 7 years of plenty and the 7 famines, the 7 pairs of each animal, the 7 saying s of Jesus, the 7 demons driven from Magdalene, the 7 loaves into 7 baskets, the 7 churches and the 7 seals…
Kind of lazy to write that the cosmological robot god’s own cosmological robot gods are the 7th power of creation… but whatever, it’s not like Danuser disappointing us is anything new.
There’s also 7 Harry Potter books.
