Watch how fast queue times would balance if Perception was replaced by Every Man For Himself.

Somewhat, although a lot more would come back and enjoy AV if it was enjoyable. It’s a pretty joyless BG for Alliance so who can blame them for not coming back to it?

Not many people want to work hard to lose nearly 100 times in a row. Yes, that’s a self-fulfilling problem but it’s the facts now. People try the BG, get discouraged because of losses, stop trying so the BG is a loss, rinse repeat.

It’s not going to change on its own, it will take a massive shake-up by Blizzard to kick-start the BG back to life.

I wouldn’t even want this. Just balance them out by removing the immunity part of WotF and make Perception a bit weaker but a passive. I think the abilities are iconic but unbalanced.

Honestly, many of the racial abilities are a bit tilted. Hardiness is a bit strong for what it does, it probably should have some sort of internal cooldown so that it doesn’t have a chance to stop multiple stuns in a row. Or be an on-activate ability with a cooldown, just like many of the others.

  1. MOST of the R10+ are in WSG because it’s better “Honor per HR”
  2. MOST players who do hit Rank 14 will take an extended break from WoW; this is just what happens.
  3. MOST players who reach their PVP goals will go casual after they do.

So while you were doing all this… all horde were doing were zug zuging the GY.

Horde are the carebear no skill faction thats for sure.

Will never happen. Too many Blizz employees play horde for there to be any chance of Horde OP pvp racials getting the nerf

The thing is, in a group fight, pallies can turn the tide. The racials are not that big of a deal. But if you wanna draw in the solo pvper to your faction, then the racials were a very good sell.

I think over time, you may see horde reroll alliance for the pvp enjoyment after they grow tired of waiting around the house for a que to pop.

Or pvp just becomes a novelty thing noone ques for…

We will see.

I still question the sanity of anyone who likes pvp to pick THIS game to do it in. So many better games out there.

Pure gold.

Same fake account horde posting against allies in other threads. Allies dont care about pvp only because it is clearly not a fair playing feild. You would quit too if it was obviously rigged.

I play alliance, my main character is Alliance. My ALT is Horde so I have the perspective of some one who’s able to see it from both sides.

If you want to QQ about any map the only one that indeed is truly horde bias is AB… Ever heard of the Iron Triangle? BS, Mill, Farm; it has that name for a damn good reason… Horde has a clear advantage to getting these 3 nodes, and it’s a very favorable arrangement.

As for AV and WSG, the mild quirks of these maps is not enough to write home about; both sides have some annoying features; Alliance can 100% avoid the Horde defenses by wallwalking up the waterfall and straight into the Horde base, bubble pull the warmasters and kill drek in under 7min…

WSG, there are some terrain advantages on both sides that can be for the most part exploited by either side; sure they could be dealt with but we already know all these and how to combat them so who cares…

As for the whole…

That’s fine, I love PVE also, but the problem with the alliance is that those who do BG’s are not often the kind who’re there for anything other than rewards… They don’t seem to attend just for the sake of enjoying some BG’s.

When your only point of doing content is for the reward; you’re there for the wrong reason.

You must be really awful at this game to play both sides and still have zero situational awareness.

Apparently better at it than you, I am not the one QQ’n and instead telling you to change how you think about PVP.

If you want to win the most important thing is Team play, if you play as a team you will be orders of magnitude more powerful as a player.

The second most important thing in BG is the objective of the map you’re on. Secure the objectives and that in tandem with Team play will push you toward winning…

Honor per Hr is almost meaningless to the Solo player because the Solo player cannot at all keep up with the top BG teams. The best thing a Solo player can do is improve on his own game play and network to get involved in the local PVP community so that advancement will be more efficient.

I know what is possible, and while the alliance are presently getting wrecked in BG, this is 100% a skill based problem; not a gear problem or a map problem.

Stop queueing AV. The gear isn’t any better than anything I’ll get in MC/BWL. I’ll just raid to get gear and avoid that nonsense, let Horde sit in 60+ minute queues

Bottom line:
Long queues do not bother me, so you may as well stop trying to troll. :man_shrugging:

Name checks out. Not to mention the player who took a month off from the game because of how P2 effected him… on a balanced faction realm.

The other side of that equation is “why are most alliance choosing PVE servers?” Perhaps alliance are choosing alliance because they have better PVE racials, and choosing PVE servers because they would rather PVE than PVP?

WSG is where the best PvPers go to have one-sided fights against PuGs.

I am a PvE Horde player that does not wPvP. I got my exalted by end of Day 3. Took 3 weeks off and been PvPing since. Average about 76 hours in battlegrounds a week to get around 225k honor a week. Only reason I went for exalted was it was a reputation I want to max and the cheaper mount. I fully expect never to get pass rank 10. I just pvP in battlegrounds for something to do as most of the solo content I completed and I can’t stand farming.
