Sorry, you’re wrong. The majority of this game is solo questing, even if YOU spend the “end game” (see, it has that modifier, to show it’s only a part of the game, not the whole game) being carried by a guild or teammates through a handful of dungeons and raids in constant repetition.

Doing a M+ thirty times doesn’t mean there’s thirty times the content, just that you’ve been on the same treadmill thirty times. True story.

I mean, the OP is pretty spot on. Unfortunately Blizzard ruined the drive of being in a guild, but having been playing with the same group for going on our third expansion now, I wholeheartedly agree this game is leaps and bounds better when played with friends and people you see more often than once.

The pugging experience is the worst way to experience the game.

Honestly, I’ve made some friends by just being open and nice in dungeons, or even on the forums I’ve met plenty of folks who I would play with (were we on the same faction). We live in an anti-social society but if everyone put in a little bit more effort to communicate, I think things would be better.

People suck though

Exactly, a well designed game can be designed for multiple play styles. This one could also if it had a game designer that could even see or think about casual players instead of only thinking about or designing around mythic players.
