I just purchased the new Gilded item to recraft my gear to 727 ilvl and apparently the stats/item level arent registering correctly, because I recrafted, equipped the pieces, and went from 716ilvl to 705ilvl. So if you plan on upgrading your gear, your best bet is to wait.

Yeah, there’s been a couple threads on it. Some people have said it’s just a display bug but others have said they are doing less damage as well.

i logged out and logged back in and it seemed to be fixed at least the displayed ilvl part.

My ilevel keeps fluctuating back and forth. I also purchased 2 gilded matrix, 1 for OH and one for MH. Recrafting MH ate both matrix and also all of my artisans acuity. Ridiculous

it’s definitely not just a visual bug, because i literally have 2million less hp now that i recrafted 2 pieces. amazing new patch!

same here. Went from having 718 character ilvl with my 720 weapon equped to 700 character ilvl when I upgraded and equipped the same weapon at 727 -.-
Really hope this is fixed sooner then later.

bumping this. im doing way less damage. i equipped a dagger thats 20 ilvls lower and it did more damage. crafting is bugged.

Log back into the game, and your health will return to normal. Then go out into the wild to fight a monster, and your equipment level will also return to normal.

Yeah buddy! Went from 707 to 679 with a craft and two recrafts. The small indie company strikes again!
Thankfully I only upgraded a 1H and a 2H before I noticed. Waiting for them to fix this before I spend anymore glided crests.
This worked for me, left the city and killed something, all good now.
Edit: i swapped toons and the bug came back lol
