Just FYI if you boost a toon to 70 counting on being able to Buy Drake Manuscripts ect ect just be advised its broken. The vendors do not recognize that you have any renown whatsoever (HOTFIXED)

It wont recognize progression past 20. Does the 20 but not anything past that. Purposely got 21 for the gold scale unlock but nope
A lot of times boosts have like 12 to 24 hour timer before stuff is registered like that if i remember correctly

No I mean all Qs are working. I can Q for both Dung and LFR. They didnt work for like 2hours or so but they do now. Yet I still cant buy manuscripts

Looks like the rep is time gated and it hasnt unlocked on your account yet after the boost which stuff usally is gated behind X amount of time has to pass before its registered on your account, even though your MAX its not registering on your account yet thus the Time limit gate blizzard put on boosts. normally its dungeons and raids but in this case looks like sense you can do those things like you said its rep thats time gated behind the timer.
Wish that was the case. Its over 24hrs now. Same problem
Im shocked more people are not replying saying they are having same issue
in most cases its 24 to 48 hours if its not unlocked by 48 hours id open a ticketā¦blizzard could have also made it so vendors dont unlock with rep who got boostedā¦its this case with heritage armor as well. boosted toons didnt get heritage armor they had to lvl from X lvl to max to unlock.
Renown unlocks is account wide. If that was the case there would be no need to give the 20 renown. Thats literally the āwhole pointā of the āenhanced 70 boostā
its also blizzard lol they can detect boosted toons and block content if they want to on boosted toons wouldnt surprise me either

Iām having the same issue. Iām assuming this is a bug or there is some timed lockout that just hasnāt expired yet.
GM confirmed its a bug. Another person a I know is having same issue submitted a ticket also. His GM replied and told him its a bug they are looking into atm
Not surprised honestly. Renown is still a newish thing and to get boosted a good way through itā¦ surprised we didnāt see more renown bugs sooner.

And its like day 2 for the pre purchase release as well. Itāll definitely be ironed out within a few weeks Iām sure.
Yeah letās just hope those who already use their character boost wonāt be Sol 
I have a buddy who used his boost a little bit ago to boost a monk and his worked just fine he went around buying all the Renown Rewards so I hope I didnāt use mine before they implicated a fix. Either that or the bug is only affecting some people and not everyone Iām sure if it was affecting everyone the forms would have a lot more post about this.
It may very well just be hit or miss at the moment
I am also having this issue. I dontā think it was intended at all. If there was some waiting period, Blizzard would have included that information, so people didnāt go nuts with bug reports and complaints.
