7 months of no new content. Here is what it is costing you

I don’t have a problem paying a sub, but I still think the “access to servers” thing is not really a good argument when there are other mmo’s that don’t have a sub, or do and provide more content.

Having said that, I do agree with Clark in that it’s worth the money (please, this will be the last time I say that.)

The amount of hours I put into the game of my own choosing are a far greater value than nearly any other hobby I might pursue.

Obviously I have some complaints like everybody else, but, ya know, it is what it is, it’s not enough to make me stop playing apparently. Though, I also must admit, I am becoming more dissatisfied. But, that has a lot more to do with the direction of the game than the delay of 9.1 or the cost of playing.

WoW is 15 years old now. Working on the same project for 15 years, I would expect people to become more proficient at their jobs. But that doesn’t seem to be happening. Time between content drops is increasing and quality is definitely not improving (except for the art team. Those guys are beast)

Turn over? It’s not the same team remotely. Also 17 years, not 15.

Either complacency has a grip on this game or its being directly controlled by bean counters and spreadsheets. Or both. Because there is no soul left here.

To you, it’s a game, soul? Come on. You have fun or you don’t. No matter the flowery language you use that is what it comes down to.

Its like a post apocalyptic fair. The rides are there. The games and concession stands are there. But its all covered in ash and dust and the only life is a few crows picking at trash cans.

Have you logged in at all? I had to compete for daily mobs again today. Ghost land hardly. Flowery language again, check.

I think it’s pretty funny people keep crying about the game yet keep paying their subscription fee.
