670 Unholy Dk and 668 Rogue 2/8M LF Guild

Topic kinda says it all. I’m a 670 Unholy DK and he’s a 668 Rogue. We’re both 2/8 M with multiple attempts on M Rik. We would like to find a guild that is at the same place or a little higher.

Ideally, we’d like to raid Any day Monday - Friday After 7pm Central time. Weekends are something that we’d also be open to, just looking to see whats out there.

Knights of the Alliance is recruiting all people, all specs, all roles, for our raiding, Mythic+, and PvP teams. We are always looking for like minded individuals to join our guild, whether it be for raiding, M+, or just to find a group of individual to hang out with that are like-minded. If you don’t see the day/times that you want to raid on here, hit me up! We work to help raid teams create themselves in our guild. You would have me recruiting for you, leaving you to do what you really want to do, which is lead a raid.

KotA has been around since the early days of Vanilla WoW and we have raiding in every tier since that time, attempting or beating every raid as it was current content. Every so often, as with anyone with a life, we have backed off raiding due to real life events or because an expansion sucked (looking at you BFA). We have consistently been a top ten guild on the server with this last expansion hitting a top five each raid tier. However, as always, our goal has never been to reach these heights, they are just obtainable with the right group of individuals around us. As such, here are the rules for KotA members -

1. We were all prior military. As such, we tend to act like it. We bark orders and we expect things to be done when we say it. But that also includes all the fun stuff. If you were ever in the military, you know exactly what I’m talking about. However, with 5 raid groups, every group is different with different vibes. I highly recommend speaking with the raid leader of that group to understand exactly what the vibes are for that group.
2. We swear. A lot. Actually, an obscene amount. If that hurts your psyche, then we aren’t the guild for you.
3. We are also a family guild. My dad, my mom, my three older brothers, my two little brothers, and my sister all play WoW and are all in this guild. Once upon a time, we also boasted about having my uncle, my aunt, and my cousin all in guild as well. Those familiar relationships tend to grow towards people who join our guild, but especially with those who have been in the military.
4. Because 1 and 3, we also tend to give everyone around us a lot crap. We will trash talk you if you screw up a pull. We give you crap if you fall on the elevator boss. Expect to have a lot of fun while in guild but expect that fun to come at your expense.
5. We are a family. As such, we help each other out. We farm materials if you need to level your professions, we help you out if you are trying to get a specific item, we bring cauldrons, feasts, potions etc. From the moment you join, expect us to treat you as your family would treat you.
6. Which brings me to our final rule - If you sign up for something, we expect you to be there. We understand things come up and we know that real life is far more important that WoW, but we just ask that you give us a heads up if something is happening and you’re gonna be late or won’t be able to show up. We aren’t heartless, you know.

If you’ve made it through the rules for harmonious living in KotA, then you might have a place with us.

We are going to be raiding heroic raids, then switching over to Mythic every raid tier. We currently have five different raids running. Our raid times are Tuesday 4-7PST/7-10EST, Tuesday/Wednesday 5-8 PST/8-11EST, Tuesday/Thursday 6-9PST/9-12EST, Wednesday/Thursday 6-9PST/9-12EST, Saturday 5-8 PST/8-11EST. For M+, our guild focuses on getting our guild members through KSM, and then pushing to see how high we can go. We have a guild M+ night on Thursdays (lower- to mid-level keys) and Monday nights (8+ keys).

DDT – Tuesday - 4/8M NP, 8/8H LoU currently not looking for anyone for this group. This raid is a 1-night raid that focuses on AotC then heads into mythic to clear as much as possible
TGM – T/W - 4/8M NP, 8/8H, 2/8M LoU currently looking for a boomkin. All spots are part of a meritocracy and not based on who has been around longest. They ended 6/8M last expansions last tier and pushed into mythic every tier beforehand.
MT6 – W/Th - 4/8M NP, 8/8H LoU, currently looking a tank, a few DPS and a healer. This raid is focused on AotC then getting into mythic ASAP
Unyielding - T/Th, 8/8H LoU 1/8M, 2-3 rdps, going to be heading into mythic in S2. This raid is focused on AotC then mythic
Vibes - S - 8/8N, 4/8H LoU, this raid is for people who can’t commit to a specific time, who like to raid drunk, and alts. This raid always needs a main tank

We are looking for a couple of dps to round out our mythic roster, Just wanted to reach out and tell you a little about Only Friends and see if it might fit what you are looking for.

We are a mythic progression guild that houses a progression team and a AOTC/1-2 mythic bosses team. Currently we are 3/8m. The guild has been around for the last few expansions with an evolving roster. We raid 2 days a week for 3 hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 9pm EST till midnight.

Let me run you through what we are about. We love to play WoW and progress without it becoming as or more stressful as our RL jobs. We believe that developing our players leads to better long-term results than just recruiting the highest IO and iLVL. Lastly, we believe that as long as we are all trying our hardest we can get the boss kills. Does this always lead to us being the fastest… no, but it does lead to a strong core group of people.

We seem to fit your times and perhaps your interest in progression. To be honest, though, we are the type of team that does primarily AOTC and easier mythics and then we break. With summertime coming up, we’ll probably get 1 or 2 more mythic bosses in our prog and then take the summer off before starting the next season.

If that sort of schedule/playstyle aligns with you, here’s our cut and paste:

Malfunctional is an AOTC/Easier-mythics focused team which emphasizes community and enjoyment while getting bosses down. We raid 2 nights a week, the expectation is that you’re able to have fun but when it’s time to focus up you can play your class at a solid level. We generally get AOTC well before the end of a tier, so once we farm the heck out of it and easier mythic bosses, we also take a bit of a break before the next tier to come back refreshed!

We’re primarily looking for just a couple DPS or a healer.
