Hey guys, at 616 what should my single target dps be? Im getting absolutely destroyed on fights like queen and i feel like i should be more competitive in the ranking, but lagging just infront of the tank (on Queen) at around 500-600k sucks.
Any rotation tips? Have moved to an oblit build with frostwyrm now
Without logs all we can do is speculate.
Only tips I have are you can Pre-AMS the silken tomb cast so you don’t get rooted.
If you track boss timers you can Death’s Advance when she is 2 seconds away from starting to cast her Wrest during the Intermission and you can sit still and just strafe left/right for waves. No real tips for Phase 2 outside of don’t hit Skitterer’s until the tank groups them on the Priority target casting the raidwipe ability.
Edit: Checking your armory you have crafted bracers, helm, and weapon and of those 3 only the bracers is embellished. The weapon embellishment Ascension/Ascended with the armor embellishment to double the effectiveness of the weapon embellishment is incredibly strong.

Other than that you need to post logs or everything is speculation on what you are doing wrong.
If you think it’s a rotational issue try out hekilli and see if your dps goes up.
You have to be missing somethig in your rotation cause Im 597 on my FDK and those are the numbers im hitting, you should be around 800k - 1m burst
I see you are dual wielding. So I suggest you can move stats around. As a DW frost DK you do not need as much crit compared to 2handers. 20-25 percent max crit is more than enough. Move those to get your mastery to at least 40 percent and maybe haste to 15%. Last week when I tried doing DW with only 19-20 percent crit, I was proccing more KM that I could actually use during obliteration.
Objectively false. Crit is the most important stat by a large margin and, for some characters, better than Strength.
Haste isn’t bad but is one of the worst stats when your choices are “more Crit” or “more Mastery”.
A single anecdotal doesn’t prove anything.
Run BoS. Frostwyrm isn’t very useful on single target. Most parsers are running “omnifrost”-BoS/Obliteration/Icy Death Torrent. Make sure to use a flask and potion. Build up RP with your 6 starting runes on pull then blow all your cds. Try to get extra RP with Cold Thirst. Then do 2 standard obliteration/FS on your next Pillars. Repeat.
Bos is difficult to run.
Go horseman if you aren’t.
Much easier to keep sustain up.
Db after all the nerfs in beta til now is just bad imo.
Crit sims higher for most people than STR as DB BOS. This is a very bad advice.
he is obliteration DB. Sims are not everything. It is a good guidepost but it does not account for player movement and how they play.
Don’t underestimate the power/importance of your pillar window. We have been given a myriad of steady dmg tools to help keep us afloat like icy death torrent and km procs sending out a glacial advance, but in DF and prior our oblit dmg was around 40% or higher single target and growing with aoe cleave.
We’re fortunate to have more sustained dmg now, but pillar/oblit is still your bread and butter if you’re running it.
Make sure to pool some resources/runes ahead of slamming it if needed, horn of winter helps a lot for setup.
Look to activate remorseless winter ahead of time to keep runes available during pillar window, and more importantly your GCDs in general. It doesn’t last very long, get busy while you can.
Obviously experience on whatever content you’re facing will help you find better setup areas ets to squeeze out more dmg.
And to note as well, of those new sustained dmg abilities we picked up, they’re only going to help your dmg if you’re facing your target/hopefully more than one, as torrent and glacial ad are frontals. So if you’re still learning dungeons and bosses and tunnelling a bit, you likely are missing out on both free glacial advance dmg as well as icy d torrent. More crit. More crit. More crit. More torrents. Torrents go brrrrrr.
Also look at your exterminate dmg, if it’s low then def you’re blowing your pillar windows.

Just going off your armory profile…
Use macros to make the most out of your pillar window. If you are off by even a fraction of a second, you lose an additional GCD during the only time you can deal some real damage.
You’re running a lot of haste with relatively low mastery, so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Rider sims higher than DB/BoS for you right now.
You have Razorice enchanted but you’re not using Shattering Blade. That’s a huge loss in stats (if you opted for Stoneskin Gargoyle) or raw damage (if you rearrange talents to take shattering blade).
For immediate results with your current gear, I’d recommend switching to a rider build with shattering blade talented. If you want to stay DB don’t bother taking Frostwyrms fury, and opt for Shattering Blade. If you don’t like shattering Blade, probably want to switch to Stoneskin gargoyle over razorice at least.
Crit>Mastery>Haste>Versat is what you’d want for a BoS build, which is edging out in all forms of content at the moment, but I’m just going to guess you’d rather not play that if you aren’t already.
