Well, $59.96 for a major exp grinding time investment reduction that will cheese you to lvl 60 quickly.
For the low price of a $14.99 subscription you can now create a 2nd retail WoW account for multiboxing, and each one you get will reduce your killing time. With 4 extra accounts you’ll be hitting trash for 5x the damage, lowering kill times of 15 seconds to near-instant mob deaths.
You’ll also be able to cheese down elites for huge exp (and better droprates), and depending on your class, solo all dungeons and monopolize all the loots. On a PvP server you could even safely level inside dungeons.
Would the average player cough up ~$60 for a character boost? Sure happens a lot on BfA, and the struggle from 1-110 is just a fraction of how difficult 1-60 will be.
… so this was all a bit tongue-in-cheek, but the reality is the first 60s will without a doubt be multiboxers, and with their priority access to easy end-game loots and farming their $60 investment will pay for itself dozens of times over, especially if WoWtokens come out. But should Multiboxing be allowed in Classic? Were multiboxers even a thing back in vanilla?

Sounds like an advertisement.
I’m not sure how you are going to solo a dungeon multiboxing?
I personally think the lvling experience from Classic-Wrath was enjoyable.
No I dont think they should allow multiboxing and yes they did have it back in the day.
I remember a Ele Shaman Chain-lightning everyone in SW it was brutal.

Yeah, multiboxers were usually shamans, they seemed to work the best with single input across all characters
i doubt multiboxers will be allowed

Usually with a class that has tank/healing talents, and just have 2 of your 5 chars with different abilities on the keys that would cause the others to dps. Although often it’s 5 rogues stealthing to each boss and evasion tanking/bursting with vanish rotates. Interesting videos on this all over the youtubes.
I hope you’re right, it’s not the vanilla experience I want but it’ll feel a bit reckless to avoid doing it otherwise.
Perhaps Blizzard could disable Multiboxing for Classic under the unfairness of Alliance not having shammies.

Well, you know what they used to say, if you’re having a problem in a raid just add another paladin

I really don’t think multi-boxing a dungeon would work in Classic, because you have to cc stuff. I mean you could probably do it, but I think it would be much slower than a regular group.
Obviously a troll. Levelling in Classic is half the damn point it’s not all about endgame. That is what so many of the people asking to change hybrid classes just don’t understand.

I loved end game too. I just don’t see it going anywhere so forking out money to boost in a static world seems like more money than sense.
Don’t allow boosts in classic. Leveling was the point

you know i was just reading an article today about people who just read the titles of things and then talk like they know what it’s about. didn’t think i would see it happen first hand.

Obvious troll or clever way to bring up the topic of multi-boxing?
I’ll chose to believe it was about multi-boxing because I read the OP. At this time I haven’t made up my mind for or against though.

Chain lightning used to mow down 3-4 people at a time. I didn’t even bother to engage multiboxing shammys. Stealth and run in the opposite direction.

Setting yourself up for huge disappointment.

Your going to get bored pretty fast then because there really isnt a lot to do at 60.

I’m thinking the first 60’s will be players taking turns leveling one toon to 60, but you could be right. Either way it doesn’t affect my experience.

Multiboxing was allowed in vanilla and has never been disallowed in WoW so I can’t see it being banned in classic.

Buying a lvl 60 boost would completely negate a good amount of the experience. If people want to screw themselves over and waste money that’s on them.
