BFA released 7 months ago. I’ve experienced the content in all BfA zones, participated in Island Expeditions, LFR’s, dungeons, WPvP, Faction Assaults, etc… and I feel flight is long overdue. I’d rather stay immersed while flying my character, than using a whistle or “taxi”. If I could fly, I’d play more often by adding in profession gathering. I’m just burned out on gathering on this toon because I’ve been doing it for 7 months on other toons, by ground.
I’m tired of running on my “flying” mounts. This wait is ridiculous.

I agree on the time frame. I as well feel there has been plenty of time for immersion and exploration.
Hopefully we will see it soon. My fear is they are going to do it like Legion. Give us flight, however at the same time or extremely soon after give us a new area, with no flight, and all the current content.

They stated this was the goal with flight when they introduced Pathfinder during WOD. For the most part, they don’t want us flying in current content.

This so FYI to all the flightless wonders out there that Blizzard deff wants us on the ground.
I don’t mind Pathfinder and being not grounded for a while, but I agree that flight should have already been enabled. There isn’t a zone like Tanaan or the Broken Shore: a locked zone that is part of the main continent we’re questing on. We’ve seen all of Zandalar and Kul Tiras by now.
Oh that’s certainly exactly what will happen. We already know that Pathfinder Part 2 will be part of 8.2. There will be two new zones: Mechagon and Nazjatar. Neither zone is part of Kul Tiras or Zandalar, so it’s a safe bet that neither will allow flight.

you still have another year and 3 months of bfa each expansion is about 2 years long.

All things I don’t like about BFA aside, if I could fly I would be subbed right now.
I assume they’ll enable flight the day Classic goes live.
If they’d just let me fly in dazaralor I wouldnt even care about flying in the rest of the zones this expansions.

Idk, in Legion we could fly on the Broken Shore, but not in Argus. I think we’ll be able to fly in one of them.
But I’m not putting it past Blizzard.
