I used to get a 6 month sub because it was cheaper. Now I sub by the month because I might want to take a break sometime. It was nice getting mounts, but I never intentionally bought 6 months because of that.

Most of the mounts have just been freebies I barely notice.
I buy 6 months at a time because usually I know I’m going to be playing it that long.

Both. Although my sub is currently set to expire in Sept. Might let it run out or switch to a single month… haven’t decided yet.
I bought it for the mount. I figured there was a good chance I would still be playing over the next 6 months so I went from 30day sub to 6month.
I think it is rather funny that some of the immediate responses are that they enjoy the game. Rereading the original post, I did not see that was a part of the ask. Some people are just really defensive, huh?
It’s cheaper to sub at 6 months and it comes with possible mounts; I do not like the current story, most of the game mechanics, or how the company is handling itself as a whole. But I get to hang out with some cool people that I like, and its freakin cheap! A 6 month sub for 77 bucks is way cheaper that going out on a friday night. A single Friday nite. One night, or several hours, compared to 6 months,182.5 days and nights. Bottomline, it is a game, its cheap, it’s cheaper to pay 6 months versus month to month, plus you get mounts sometimes.

It is cheaper to get the 6 month sub instead of paying monthly. $12.99 a month isn’t bad when you consider any other entertainment choices you can make.
Honestly, it works out really well for me since I get to play for several hours a week with my wife.

I’m always on the six month. It’s a little cheaper in the long run. I never unsub, not even during the driest of content droughts. You have to implode the servers and the forums to get me to go away.
So I might as well pick the most affordable option, six months is cool by me. The free mounts are extra gravy.

I never purchase 6 months subs because Ive always preferred the option to turn off the automatic payment if my personal life requires it. However, I did buy the mount but only because I had the cost sitting on my bnet account and had no other real use for it.
My sub is currently turned off automatic payment and is being kept alive with my gold.
Needed gametime and my birthdays coming up

Did it for the bird as it colors match my armor.
I bought it because it bothers people that I bought it. I don’t like when society pushes some idea onto others and will often go out of my way to fight or irritate such people that do these things.
This. I would never pay for 6 months if I didn’t intend to play for 6 months.
