Flying around Shadowlands zones as horde on Illidan server on a SATURDAY NIGHT, was a heavily populated server even up until a month or 2 ago. No one in this zone… no one in that zone… no one to group up with for WQs (WorldQuestTracker’s invite feature is useless now with no one playing)… I’ll level an alt ok… in my 50s… dungeon queues 20min?! LOL. BG queue I’ve been in it for 30min+ for regular bg not epic. They want us to 6 month sub for this? FOR WHAT? NO new content? Same problems. And now no one to play with lol. LOLOLOL

Because no one is in the old zones. They’re all in the raid, M+ or Korthia.
It’s old content. Maybe catch up to 9.1. Not to mention, no one is going to level an alt until 9.1.5 when it gets easier.

You talked about World Quests and flying around zones. Neither of which exist in Korthia. So no, there’s no “obviously” about it.

Are you sure sharding wasn’t the issue? If a zone shard gets full it can bump you into a new one. Maybe you just had the unfortunate chance of being zoned into a quieter one, while the bigger crowd was in another.
If you don’t want to 6 month then just do a monthly sub. You’re not forced into it. What you get out of WoW for your money is entirely up to you. There’s a lot of potential things to do in game.
- I see people constantly in the overworld. When I do my daily rounds in any zone, there’s always 5-10+ people who join in for rares like Scunner, Valfir, Famu, etc. I’ve literally had my fps drop to like 5 because there were so many people at a rare in Korthia.
- That’s probably because you’re Horde. Dungeon queues will be higher because there’s more players on Horde, and the majority of them are DPS. I literally JUST queued for a dungeon on my 52 shaman and it had a 4 minute queue as DPS.
- Again, the bg thing is because you’re Horde. Enter Mercenary Mode, and the queue time will drop dramatically. From 10-59, I have had max a 5 minute queue time for bgs until around 10 pm server, at which point times grow significantly because people go to sleep (and it was this way in every expansion).

I didn’t know that could happen, maybe I was pushed to a dead shard or something. But doesn’t explain the queue times, I know horde BG queues are 3/4x longer if not more than alliance queue times but damn i left it at 35min and dps dungeon random was 20+min. maybe i just needa relog
Then play Alliance.
Horde will always have higher queue times until Blizzard does something to address the faction imbalance.
I had been playing Alliance past couple months, but I like to go back n forth.

You can go to navy they have a lot of those 
As of late I’ve been seeing more horde (not in warmode, mind you) but overwhelmingly alliance in open world pve.
In pvp, it’s the opposite.
