I’m thinking maybe Blizz should DOX the players and see about contacting their potential employers about the kind of “team players” these leavers really are behind closed doors.
Would teach a much needed lesson imo.
Why don’t they just make it after every 5 wins you get conquest, but doesn’t have to be from the same queue of partners.
Every game of rated solo shuffle I’ve played today, and I mean EVERY SINGLE GAME, someone has left early, screwing me out of rating. I’ve been playing for hours and I’m still sitting at the exact same rating as I started. Just got out of one where I won 4 out of the first 5 rounds, BAM, someone leaves. It doesn’t matter how strict the punishment is for leavers, they will continue to do it because it’s not about the penalty they receive, it’s about screwing everybody else over.
Um they definitely can. How do you think Blizz monitors their chats with 0 staff?? Big Brothers assistance

We need a ban type system really bad, 15mins derserter is not enough to deter these idiots from leaving on the 6th round cause they lost all the rounds before mine as well take the 6 the loss and just screw everyone else
They need to remove the option to leave period. If they refuse to do that then they need to reward people who stay for rounds played.
Giving people the option to leave means they will regardless of punishment “Rage quit” which means a long ban would just result in further discontent. If people are forced to play through then many “leavers” wouldn’t queue to begin with or would go in knowing they were going to need to attempt to win or it’s a waste of their time.
I honestly don’t think you should have an option to leave any ranked match prior to completion. Normal BGs of course the leave button needs to be there.
On that note the match would also need to persist through a DC so that “plug pullers” still take the rating loss. In this instance people who stay should still get rating.
None of this seems complicated.
He is the same way in every type of PvP, randoms , epics . One of my favorite pastimes in WoW is to find him in BG’s and tunnel him till he quits that game . It’s pretty easy to achieve.
Maybe like a 48-72 hour ban for people that leave multiple games but 6 months would hurt blizz to much.
Any ban is absurd.
Just a bigger deserter for that game mode that’s account bound will be fine.

The only thing BLIZZ can do accurate is rewards the player for the rounds they won
I think its pretty obv if you lose electric or power multiple times during solo shuffle games that you’re just leaving. Either that or like Okay said just increase the deserter duration and make it account bound.
Think all of these forum trolls could literally rename to “iamtrollingu” and at least have the forums would still get baited.

Pretty sure botting has a less harsh ban. Lets dial it back a bit.

I haven’t done solo yet. I think the best way to handle that would be to reduce rating loss for those that stayed. Of course, thats not perfect, but it’s the best direction to take aside from punishing the leaver.
that seems fair. make the deserter 1 hour, make it account wide but also silence the account so they cannot queue up for random bgs, dungeons and cannot use LFG tool. That would definitely stop solo queue leavers lol
