Rofl… I didn’t know that. ALL of his high keys on paladin have been done in the last 2 weeks. That is insane.
Yep character first sighted in tww october 21st, did full normal palace in greens.
Less than a month later here we are with their proof of prot pally being OP.
Its a character made to prove how easy it is. Tempted to do the same with my paladin.

No one said that, BTW. I said that calling him 589 is a bit misleading as it’s just such a huge drop due to having an empty slot rather than having an average equipped ilvl of 589
It’s a gimmick because of that and not having a hard requirement to have a weapon equipped. I’m sure they will have their dps tuned at some point and I will eagerly await the day monk is meta.

I don’t know why everybody always calls for a Nerf instead of asking for other classes to be lifted up. Paladin is fine, but it seems like every other tank except Druid because I have one of those is suffering. maybe we should be asking to have the other tanks, helped out rather than crushing one tank style.

Easier to balance by fixing the one outlier than buffing everything to their level. Example- prot warrior with prot paladin damage would self generate heals/shields like a disc. Vengeance demon hunter with prot damage reductions would be literally able to solo m+.
Blood DK with the defensives and damage of other tanks would be immortal unstoppable killing machines in all content.
Those gears upstairs are much like a manual transmission in 2024.
Lots of grinding, lots of smoking, but not going anywhere.

The easier thing to do would be get rid of mythic plus since it seems to be The only place anybody is struggling. Every class is doing just fine and heroics but then all of a sudden we get to a +10 and mythic and everybody else realizes who is actually best. And it’s ironic, considering pal tanks have less health than a druid tank and they have less damage mitigation than a monk. most of these tanks were out performing paladin for the last three expansions.

And second place would imply that somebody’s doing better than them lol which is exactly what I said. It didn’t have to be multiples, but there is always one tank doing better than paladin and has been for a very long time.
Just played a undergeared prot paladin in m+ some with almost zero idea of what to do…
Still didn’t die. Because prot paladin can actually immune most damage mechanics and self heal for full from near 0…3x.
Also, 5 interrupts 4 of them having silences and one being AOE with aoe silence. Stun that lasts half a mobs health pool. Aoe disorients…Ffs nothing can cast against prot paladins.
