Seriously WTF is wrong with you not giving any warning and why is there a restriction on the levels when we are forced to go in sequence?
I hate the fairies map, ambience and everything else and just want to leave the place to go to the last map and have fun there but nope instead I am stuck grinding half a level because reasons.
Very poorly executed and thanks for not providing ANY clues about level restrictions within the game…you know like a simple freaking message saying: you need to be 58 to complete part 7 and 8 of the quest line.
I am so frustrated and annoyed of this constant linear forced story crap

Did you just ignore all the sides quests on your way to Ardenweald? There are more than enough stuff for you to do in the other two zones to ding you to 60 at the end of Ardenweald or within minutes of landing in Revendreth. You can probably back track to Mald and knock out enough XP to finish it up.

Personally I hit level 60 in Ardenweald, but I have ocd must complete everything…

Yes I ignored the sidequests because I want to reach 60 and have experienced the 4 factions and then decide which ones to spend more time in. I was not aware that progress was purposefully restricted to level.
It looks like I should have turned on war mode but I had hoped this would not be required…apparently it is. Poor design to not warn players. If I had know I would have taken gathering professions to help with XP

Maybe just do a few non main quests then? What’s stopping you?

I was lvl 59 by the time I made it out of maldraxxus, do your side quest.

I was going to type out something thoughtful but here is the effort. This made my colon polyps flair.
Didn’t you hear him? He hates the fairies map! Likely makes him feel less manly. Wants to get back to that manlier map filled with war and guts and stuff!
Seriously though OP, this is a you problem, not a Blizzard problem. If you liked the last map, you should’ve done the side quests on said map before you finished the zone. There’s more than enough to ding you to 60 LONG before the main story quest finishes.

Maybe like me, he finds it hard to care about the winged Smurfs?
Wasn’t the first 30 lvls of your questing experience enough warning that zones have level restrictions, that quests have level restrictions.
You only have the excuse you weren’t warned if you boosted a character and started playing in legion or BfA because all other expansions were like this. Nope been playing since 2008…user error.

Seems like ignoring quests of any kind isn’t the best way to get to 60.

After years of Blizzard restricting liberty and how you play, this comes as a surprise?
I got this notice too. Then did one side quest. And it was enough to pop level 58. I’m about halfway to 60

I don t know…did any of you knew you had to be 58 to continue part 7 and 8 of the main quest line? When I did the smurfs I went to level 54 and did all the side quests then realized I would hit 60 before i even completed all zones then decided to do only main quest lines.
What is so wrong about that?
It’s not the first time blizz has level locked story. Why is this a big deal though?

Well now he also learned that doing quests gives EXP and it helps you level. :^)

What’s wrong with you just doing some side quests to fix the problem. Sort of like this poster did.

They could even do a single dungeon if they hate the side quests. There are options. It’s such an easy fix and like you I don’t understand the issue

We all know that the sparkly butterfly wings were a pandering towards those weird 50somethings with the traditional ink butterfly tats on their ankle or chest.
I hit level 60 barely a few quests in Revendreth. I even skipped almost every side quest intentionally.
I did one dungeon.
Not sure why you’re having issues, I didn’t.
