I was unable to comment on my own thread until I logged off and cleared my cache but I dont know if that is actually what fixed it

Basically just that an attempt to post failed, likely due to being unable to get a lock or a bit of data due to some part of the hosting infrastructure being overloaded.

super weird cause i was literally just on the main forum page when it happened and it has 0 detail

They had to replace the hamster that powers the server here. Sadly he passed away.

Same. Kept saying I was replying in another window, but nothing else was open. Logged out and back in, then had to pick my forum character again, because a random one was chosen.
The forums have been a little laggy as of late. I wonder if that’s got something to do with it?

its been happening all day
I fixed it by logging into my affected character in the game, then logging back out. After which, I was able to post again.
