How long has it been since “The Bloodthirsty” was added? 10 years? I think it’s time for a new hk title. While you’re at it, maybe a 1 mill hk title should be added as well.

Players were forming full premades to farm HKs as quickly as possible for the HK titles. Many bgs were ruined by full premades’ gy farming. And HK trading in wPvP.

There’s always “degenerate” behavior in all aspects of the game and there will always be people whining just about everything.
There are groups gy camping bgs w/o the titles, this really isn’t an argument against a modest reward for people who have spent quite a bit of time killing stuff.
It would exacerbate that problem. It would become more frequent. More full premades formed solely for the purpose of not ending games for as long as possible so they can farm a gy for max HKs. They drove other players away from PvP.
In wPvP, raids would take turns AOEing each other for fast HKs.
The prestige of these HK titles was ruined, forever associated with degenerate behavior.
Blizzard saw the effects of HK titles and they did not like what happened.

Outright removing future titles and ruining an added incentive to increase kills during a normal battle is a lazy solution. We have honorable kills, so how about dishonorable kills that don’t count towards your HK total? The latter could be counted if you kill someone shortly after rezing at a GY, or you kill the same player over and over again in wPvP. Better yet, if you’re part of a premade group you just don’t get credit for any HKs, because ganking someone while part of a premade isn’t… wait for it… honorable.

Probably more than 10 years ago since I got it 10 years ago.
I’d rather they focus a different statistic so there’s no motivation for degeneracy, something like a 100k BGs won awarding a title like Master of the Universe. So guard your bases, heal your flag carrier even when the fun battle is happening at the enemy base, don’t bypass the rules to form full premades in BGs, you’ll get there eventually.
Achievement added in 2010, literally never been updated since then 
The honor 500 one is a bit more recent @ 2018, but also never been updated
No new BG maps added since 2018 either, while rated PvPers have gotten multiple new arena maps in the same timeframe
I don’t think there should be any more titles, personally. Just because you do something doesn’t mean it’s worth a title.
I’d be okay with an achievement, but 250k HK’s is enough for title rewards. All that really does is create more BG botters, make quality of teams even worse than they already are because most will be bots, and increase queue times exponentially when people add HK title grinds to their sales packages on boost service sites.
Almost all recent titles are like this though.
