What is this? I would much rather to have the Legion RNG system over this… You know not everyone in this game is a millionaire right? I know a lot of people having gold cap and this is nothing to them…
This is kinda too overpriced.

Blizzard offers you a solution its called a WoW token. Its Blizzards own fault for the price of these because they take some rare materials. If they were more common mats it wouldn’t be that expensive.
There are two obvious solutions to this problem:
Hey didn’t you hear! You can just use your real money to buy gold, since it isn’t P2W!
Player made prices. Blame the players. Obviously there are people out there willing to pay the prices.
It’s all just meaningless pixels with no real value in the end.
that’s crazy expensive. much cheaper on my server, everything under 150k
Do you know that Base Items has mats? You could farm for those mats and sell it at a high price too.
You can have profession too. Why are you not using it? The reason why you cant afford base items is becoz you are not using your profession.
Players are not really to blame. Its that these crafts take hard to come by materials. Due to the rarity of mats the price is higher. If they were easy to get the price would not be as high so blame Blizzard.
High demand with low supply will cause high prices which will encourage more people to fill the demand.
As more supply hits the market and more people have their lego there will be more sellers chasing fewer buys and prices will drop.
It’s one of the rare times in this game where the market is working correctly.
Instead of Ion telling us, “Let them eat cake.” his version, “let them buy tokens.”
wow token baby.
I feel bad for anyone that’s purchased a max legendary already… huge waste lol
I have long since come to the conclusion that the legendary crafting system is designed to push people into buying tokens.
Its a blatant cash grab from Blizzard and it disgusts me. Not only does it ruin crafting and taint it forever, it adds to the stink of commercialism in the game.
Have you seen how much materials it takes to rank up the legendary items? So you have to either grind your brain out collecting the materials yourself or pay for them and buy your way up the ranks. I’ve not done the calculations but I imagine it would take literally millions of gold to rank up every item on a particular character’s crafting because not only is there the base mats themselves, there is severely overpriced vendor mats required.
We shouldn’t have to wait for crafted items to drop from impossible figures to only slightly less impossible figures. Its an obscene system.
I just waited 2 weeks till I got my legadery upgrade item. The price was around 1.6m week one, now it’s like 160k
I also waited caz we couldn’t make the top one yet (I got a week or two more to go)
I’m selling mine at 200K less than that.
Engravings give no tactical advantage, but these crafted items do! Shop Foxhound.
lmao.
Yea…it’s pretty nuts. Last tier, a guildie asked me if I could make him one of the items(just a base 190), which I had most of the things for. Then the little 1/10 piqued my interest. I think it was the helm, but assuming I bought everything, it was almost a million gold just to get it to rank 2. It’s an outrageous system. I think needing things from other professions is nifty and a good idea but the cost of mats, both rare world mob mats and vendor mats, is just insane.
The huge kicker is, anyone trying to level their crafting now has to basically just give away the lower rank items because they are essentially worthless. Especially rank 1’s and 2’s. So thats a ton of gold for one slot, that is just being thrown away. I’d love to be able to craft leather and mail base items for my guild and friends, but not at the cost of 10’s of millions of gold, that I don’t have.
Also this, 150%.
Why? This weeks ghast run will give me enough to make mine. I spent 220k on a ring. I understand some people saying they have no money but there are some people that dont have anything to spend it on but transmoging there gear every few days and buying mounts.
I’m starting to understand the p2w argument now.
It’s a ~60 dps upgrade, people. There’s no P2W conspiracy. People who have no business min-maxing to the Nth degree are trying to convince each other they need 1% upgrades for their sub-mythic progression.
Everyone complaining about legendary prices on GD would see more dps by swapping covs, practicing rotations and using consumables.
225-235 is sufficient for m20s and aotc. If you want 25-30s and cutting edge you might have a reason to get rank 5 or 6 in the first month
This is another of my annoyances. So we have to buy outrageous vendor items to make one but we cannot even disenchant it to get something back if we can’t sell it or use it? I mean, you can’t even vendor it! Its pathetic design.
