5000 in queue... stolen money?

The problem will continue to worsen over the next couple of days as more people get access.
Realistically not everyone gets to attempt to access on day 1, and those who do access early will no doubt still be accessing as more and more people also attempt to as they are able over the next couple of days.

Even with an increased server capacity if you let another 2k on, but you have 4k more queueing then you now have 2k longer queues than the day before.

Realistically server transfers would be the only real option for players to try and get access (pretty sure that’s what they did on classic release?). But that being said, apparently that solution just brings down the aggro trolls on to you, or at least that is what happened mentioning it in another thread.

Identity theft is not a joke jim!

Not only that, but if people recall correctly whilst layering did improve the situation, it did not fix it.

Even with all of the additional layers, servers like Arugal, Whitemane, Faerlina, Herod, Stalagg etc still had massive 3k plus queues.

You know, Farmer Brown married a fine woman. Stout but gentle of grace with delicate charm. But the main reason he married her was because she refused to put all of the eggs into a single basket. As a result, they had fresh eggs available on-demand, everyday of the year.

Bah KAAAAK!

I found your metaphor amusing but, sadly, I believe we both know it will soar well clear of their heads. :stuck_out_tongue:

What’s a meadow for?

lol just wait till the weekend.

You had lots of fair warning.

Well

That escalated quickly

No it’s not you simply buy access to the servers
all the servers. Just because you can’t get in on one server doesn’t mean there’s not one you can log in to.

[Insert witty remark about cattle grazing or some such clever response that I’m too stupid to think of here.]

Asking for a transfer is fine because queue sucks. HOWEVER, the TOS also covers the product not being available, so pretending the TOS does not allow them to do whatever they want is just sticking your head in the sand. Which is fine and what most people do these days. That warranty disclaimer covers just about everything and is the disclaimer most any company will use. There are ways around it, but this is not one of them. The truth of the matter is that is sucks for you guys on the high pop realms. It would seem that Blizzard should do something to mitigate it. That would be good business. But pretending they owe anyone money or are stealing someone’s money is just taking what should be a simple issue off the rails. They legally owe you nothing. But they should do something.

False, black bear.

Comparing apples to pumpkins. Interesting decision.

Your 4 hours of being unable to play equates to roughly 8c of the $15 you pay a month for monthly access

Hah!
A mathemagician!

So, to move the 15 toons I currently have, I’d have to pay almost 400 dollars. That’s not reasonable nor should it be expected because I made one decision years ago and now my server is jam packed.

You’re the kind of Karen that would mentally quickmath ‘Loss of Opportunity’ cost for potential savings while in bed, never getting out of it because you already have the answer, as a dollar figure, as to why something got in your way.

Probably from something as obscure as unfavourable weather outside or a transactional cost for each encounter with an idiot on the road.

You can clearly use a calculator. Not sure if that’s a measure of anythin, but it’s let down by the fact you seem to not retain anything from the other threads Also pointing out what you agreed to in the EULA.

This is only true if

  1. None of those people will be able to play for an extended time, like weeks. And

  2. None of those people will ever be able to play shadowlands at all.

Thanks, but I didnt ask.
