Is 500 honor level even possible anymore without grinding for years? I really want those honor level mounts and I remember when they converted to the new honor system I think in Legion? That’s where everyone jumped super high in levels. There were also exploits people did but I missed out on everything. What would be the best way to grind massive amounts of honor levels if that’s even possible anymore?
Hard without actually doing pvp, but I think that Comp Stomp is really fast way.
Yea, I’d say you can do it by just consistently playing the game over a long period of time.
I was pretty casually PVPing for years and then more in recent years, I’m only 363.
Its something you dont actually chase, it will happen evebtually if you pvp regularly

solo shuffle is actually the fastest source of honor, especially if you get at least 3 wins in your matches. this late in the expansion we also have spoils of war buff for +40 (or 30??) percent honor from all sources at all times. if you want to farm it out, you won’t actually get all the way there, but you’ll make a noticeable bit of progress.
regardless, this is a multi-expansion grind, even if you pvp regularly. you just have to absolutely throw yourself at the wall if you want it done in a “reasonable” timeframe, and that’s still gonna be months.

easy to farm Honor during comp stomp (Computer Stomp)
Humans (players) vs bots
Step 1 group rushings to each nob and rushing stables as horde. once you get stables bots rush back and 99% of the time ignore the other nods
Step 2 kill them then spawn camp
Step 3 win takes about 3 to 4mins this way
Step 5 win every time que again repeat over and over and over again.
500 feels good. The mount is majestic
I like using the bg week for honor level farming. Grab the 15% potion, and the last 2 have had the end of season bonus. Add the bg week bonus, plus the extra for playing horde and you get 35 honor per minute, plus kills and end of match bonus. A good AV win gets 2-3k honor.
I just cycle through a bunch of horde alts doing just epics. When one gets a win, I go to the next, since the first win of the day gives more honor. Some days I get lots of wins in epics, so I cycle through regular bgs as well.
For the last 2 bg weeks I’ve gone from 375 to 435 honor level. So another 3 bg weeks should get me to 500.

I notice in the typical epic BG match (decent sample size of ~80 players) around 1/4 of the player list seems to be 400+, with a small handful of 1000+ towards the top of the list. For those that don’t know, you can quickly “sort” the BG scoreboard player list by clicking on the little shield/emblem icon above honor level to sort by ascending/descending… it comes in handy for quickly detecting premaders since premader players will tend to “float” to the top of the list
The horse was released in 2018, so if you PvP even semi-regularly chances are you already have it. Or if you only started dabbling in PvP fairly recently/a few years ago you’re probably “closing in” on it and are like 300+
The Honor rewards from this are actually quite low (in terms of HL 500). But you’re right it’s at least easy.
If you REALLY want to farm Honor from Comp Stomp, then (like most things in WoW) you need an alt-army.
Because when Comp Stomp is active, there is a daily quest to win, and it rewards substantial bonus Honor.
So instead of grinding out 30 wins…
…if you instead win ONE TIME… on 30 alts, you will more than double your Honor, because each alt is getting the “win Comp Stomp” daily quest. And your Honor gains are across your whole account.
I forget what I’m at anymore, I think I’m like 220+? … and at least 100 of that is just from Comp Stomp. I gave up on “real” PvP in this game a long, long time ago.

500 honor level is the final achievement of honor levels, it’s supposed to take years to get. I’ve been PVPing a lot since honor levels came out and I’m at over 700 atm
I think the last mount is 225 or 250, my next goal shows as 300 but doesnt show a mount as the reward
Quickest way to get honor is roll a healer and do tons of solo shuffle, use the honor elixir (drink before entering)
iirc, the last “reward” (since it changed in BfA) was HL 400 and it was just a pet.
And then (DF?) they added a HL 500 reward and it’s a mount.

Nope totally impossible, you actually stop gaining honor at level 450, the 500 achieve and mount is just a joke

I mean.. I guess it’s relative.
I think a win (basic win, not adjusted for dailies, etc) is worth right around 400 Honor? (for some reason, I think it’s 380)
It takes 8800 per level.. So at that rate, it’s 22 wins PER LEVEL.
Assuming a true-n00b, starting a 1 Honor level, the entire grind would then take 11,000 wins.
Sorry if I don’t call that “a lot of Honor.” From my chair, that is an ABSURD ask. lol
But, again… it’s all relative. If you want to do that over the course of just ONE expac, it’s “a lot.”
If you’re fine to spread it out over four expacs (something I’ll take the over-under that most people ARE NOT), then it’s not as bad.
One thing is for sure: with Comp Stomp becoming a permanent game mode in Midnight, it becomes a lot more of a realistic goal, even for people that hate PvP.
Although I have a hard time believing Blizzard won’t just move the goal-posts with it, too.
For reference: WoWhead and Data for Azeroth suggest the median honor level is below 15, with about 1% hitting honor level 500 in the 5 and a half years since BfA and these achievements were added (including people who had a major head start from Legion or who did exploits that let them get more honor then intended).
By comparison: 2-3% depending on the website is the estimated amount who finished the 250k honorable kills, the previous longest PvP grind from Cataclysm to Legion.
You are well into absurd, if not downright goofy, amounts of honor.

Yeah that pre-patch event before BfA spoiled any kind of taste toward chasing this Achv.
It was easy to tell, too. ppl with like 1000 kills, etc… but were 400 HL. OK sure… you didn’t cheat buddy. lol
