Blizzard, teasing everyone with the announcement of a 50% exp buff for TBC, then releasing an exp buff for “Shadowlands” that has never even been talked about. It took me 6 hours to get to max level in Shadowlands what makes yall think a 50% exp boost will change anything except making the whole player base in classic confused, and upset. Stop being stupid, drop the Exp Buff and let us have our fun, like come on blizz be the company we want yall to be.

It’s shocking me how tone deaf their company is. Who could have possibly thought it was a good idea to get classic players excited for an xp buff week, use language that implied it was going to drop in a week or two.
Then just not drop it for a month, stop talking about it. Then drop an xp buff for retail that was never mentioned at all, with an extra slap in the face “we haven’t forgotten about you classic players”.
This could have been avoided by just not mentioning it to begin with.
This could have also been avoided by giving us a date, even one significantly in the future.
This could have been avoided by not giving someone else, the same thing you said we were getting.

I kind of feel the same way most of the time. The sheer mismanagement of classic, something that should have been incredibly easy, has been crazy.
It started with the free transfers on classic PvP realms, but not making even a tiny effort to restrict those transfers by faction. Almost guaranteeing that every PvP server became ultra lopsided faction wise.
Their refusal to even try to address awful player distributions across servers guaranteed that we would end up with a few mega servers. Because no one wanted to risk a medium/low server, when blizzard showed zero interest in good duration of servers.
The total hands off on the obvious botting in classic vanilla, essentially poisoned the economy on every existing server.
Boosts without draconian oversight, immediately led to their ban waves becoming even less useful for dealing with bots/RMT nonsense.
Allowing GDKPs to be normalized ensured that swiping for power was normalized as well. I’ve watched swipers get banned for a handful of days, only to return and have 5 figure gold balances a few days later.
Fresh TBC servers could have been at least a bandaid fix, but they refused to do it. Only to talk up wrath fresh servers, but won’t commit to no boosts/transfers.
It’s absolutely wild, and I can only imagine the dysfunctional decision making hierarchy that leads to this sort of clown show.

Man the dudes running wow must be so terrible at their jobs, did they just have a red and a green button as to where they upload it and accidentally press the wrong one? Imagine making the exp buff then realising you did it for the wrong game haha

This is the people we are giving our money to. Either, they are too stupid to get the buff loaded to the right game, or they just do not give a damn about the players and doing what they say they will.

The exp buff for tbc will come out after everyone has brought their character boost for Wrath. Blizzard is pretty smart… LOL, I can’t say that with a straight face. It’s anyone’s guess when and if they release the xp buff for tbc.

Maybe it’s all a big misunderstanding, the exp buff that was announced during a classic post was actually about Shadowlands but they decided to tell the Shadowlands players in classic post to save time typing
