Recently came back to wow from legion and I came upon this interesting sight. Is it common to see something like this in retail? https://youtu.be/lIyeOZC54f0
yeah sadly its pretty common in legion/bfa zones. more so legion.
Right click and report for “cheating”, make sure when the box pops up, mention that there were many druids in the same area starfall botting. You don’t have to report each one, as long as you get one of them, the time, location, and a bunch of other information is sent to the hacks team.
its insane that they can even get to this level of botting and dont get instantly banned. I get that its a lot of sub money with there being so many accounts but I dont think players want to see this becoming the norm.
I DOUBT they actually pay, more than likely they’re paying via tokens. Still scummy tho.
I know the video doesnt show it but they are all from different servers too.
I remember back in MoP I had my account compromised (attach an authenticator!)
They only touched my Druid, didn’t even take my gold on alts or anything. Just had me in Balance spec and moved my professions to Mining/Herb.
I’d bet they are using compromised accounts to bot and sell the gold RMT.
I agree, nerf druids.
I mean DH.
Just report them for cheating.
im thinking a certain zombie virus might do the trick…
I kept seeing Druids farming pigs in Fallhaven, and the cursed people in Corlain. They’re probably farming for the mule, but still…that’s a lot of Druids farming.
They have a big, red target painted on their backs for the Banhammer.
Blizzard has made it to easy to make throw away accounts.
You can gift battlenet balance and pay no consequences for bans and make accounts all day on wow.
Warden Ignores Easy wow toolbox so these multi-bots can gold cap in day just have endless resources and the whole system is designed to make it easier.
its not cheating u are simply trying to grief cause it is something u dont like. Make sure to report RP, Wpvp, pet battles , herb /mining farmers ect
They have to prove they are using the software. If they aren’t then they are not “cheating” multiboxing isn’t the issue. It’s the software
I’ve reported a bunch of balance druids for doing the same thing in Zuldazar. I got in-game mail that it was taken care of. it does work.
Blizzard banned multiboxers but do nothing about bots, gg
I do. Anything to drive down the prices of consumables is fine by me.
Imagine you have several million legitimate players and tens of thousands of bots that get newly created every day that a couple dozen support guys are supposed to identify and action before they gin up more than enough gold to spin up more accounts.
They’re never going to stop the botters. They will for sure drive away a lot of people in the process though.
Botting definitively is cheating, and the vast majority of multi BOXXERS are cheating now too.
