5 year old defeats Fyrakk

Who doesnt!!!

Hopefully blizzard continues to build on the follower AI system (raiding should have follower AI modes!!!), Such that he and his friends/closed communities can group up to do content without the more toxic elements the internet can manfiest.

As a manager now, I cannot understate just how transferable raiding skills are to real world applications. If he/a couple of his friends from school all jumped into a similar follower-raid mode, that he could lead (developing those communication and [raid] leadership skillsets, he is fast tracked for management later in life).

Thank you for sharing this, its genuinely heart warming. Reminds me of decades ago the first time I was running around Durotar, seeing those NPCs riding wolves between valley of trials and razor hill and being awestruck.

Awe! Definitely a core memory made right there! Thats awesome!
My 7 year old has played on my wow a few times. She loves it. Absolutely loves it, mainly she just runs around and runs me into fire but hey, shes making memories with me lol

it’s kinda amusing that parents feel the need to put disclaimers and comments like this paragraph . just own your post and don’t care about others judgement or don’t post at all if you are scared of criticism.

A guild could adopt him as a mascot. :slightly_smiling_face:

If you’ve ever wondered how someone did 670dps on a LFR boss, this is how that happens. Imagine thinking it’s acceptable to grief 24 other players because your brat won’t take no for an answer.

Next time set him loose alone in a vanilla raid.

5 years old should touch some grass. They will have to deal with electronics soon enough

I let my kids play WoW and all they want to do is either fly around or dive in water.

They love making toons. With all the new hair, etc. dragon customization.

Given the opportunity though, they’d rather play Snake io or Minecraft. BoTW is fun for them too

I don’t think they grasp MMO or multiplayer mechanics

D’aww, @Mizari, that is the most wholesome story I have ever heard! Give him a big high five for me and tell him that he is a good helper! Seriously, a wholesome thread I have seen in a LONG time.

There’s a huuuuuuuge difference between fighting a cackling caricature of a bad guy like fyrakk and…punching sex workers in the face, stealing their money, and then killing cops for points.

To be fair, almost all humans, adult or not, have the same view of their health.

Drink water, people! Our characters can’t see their HP bar either but if they knew, they would probably want to fill it back up.

Well done, parent. Well done.

Imagine getting worked up about some little kid having fun in LFR which is tuned for 7 mythic raiders but lets 25 people in, with no real enrage timers and unlimited battle rez, and determination stacks going up to 50% bonus hps AND dps AND health pools.

Hello,

My son as a baby would sit on my lap and I would play my druid. He loved when I transformed and danced. Or fly really high then fall and then transform again. He loved watching me play. Now he is almost 12 years old. I was going to play with him. But unfortunately I got Bone Cancer and his mother decided after 14 years that “I am useless and worthless” as she told me before kicking me out of the house I paid for. Guess once your not an ATM western women toss you out. I wish I could play wow with my son. I know he would love it. So enjoy these moments because at any moment they can be taken from you. I was 32 years old when I first found out I had cancer in 2016.

He will remember those moments with you and that’s amazing. Games are amazing and when done in moderation it’s perfectly fine. In fact it is good. He learns eye hand coordination. I remember first playing helping an 8 year old in our guild learn to tank and whatnot. Now he is something like 22 now. Enjoy your son and the time you get with him.

The ironic part is he lived longer than some of the players, and he was pushing dps buttons on the boss, with me being geared about 475 in dps gear…he probably did more dps than some of them

So I guess he carried them? :woman_shrugging:
