How do I get a 5 star run? I don’t die, I kill everything, talk to the npcs, smash all the pots, but I’m only getting 4 stars.

As soon as I started doing this I got flawless every time.

I was where you are a week or so ago Missionary, getting 180+ points every time and yeah it really is about doing just a couple of extra cheesy things that reward you bonus points to get over the line. I’m sure they’re covered in the linked guide, but the main ones I didn’t know about:

Buy a Ravenous Anima Cell from the first vendor, after you are done dealing with him use it on him, earns you 5 points for Shoplifting plus a bonus +150 Phantasma (costs 250 but he leaves you 400) and sometimes an extra power.

Make sure you keep 500 after the last vendor, earns 10 points

Don’t take any epic powers. They are fun, but not the difference between sucess and fail of the run, and you get 10 points for not having any.
You also have a sort of choice between going for Highlander (no two same anima powers) or Reinforced (stacking an Obleron to 5), I find the latter is always best since it’s less likely you’ll end up with an impossible choice at the end where you can’t avoid a dupe, and also at least for my char stacking one secondary stat super high increases the chance of a really fast final boss kill, and there is 10 points for doing that in 40 seconds and 20 for doing it in 20s.

I’ve never been able to kill the final boss in under 3 minutes. Is there a guide somewhere for each class on how to optimize torghast buffs so I can max my dps?

As a general rule, white powers can be a lot stronger than you’d normally imagine. For torghast maximize damage. If you’re struggling with defense side, always pick the bloodgorged anima power (the one that gives 5% hp whenever you attack).
To be flawless, take and stack powers maximizing dps, pick up the frenzy potion, and save an empowerment for final boss.
But if you don’t kill the final boss in 20s or less, if you do everything else in the guide (everything Minidecay mentioned + everything from link I sent) should get you above the score threshold.
