Idk, I prefer 5 man content over the clusterfu… over the raids we have now, purely because I main melee and It’s just hectic to see wtf is going on with all the spell effects, pets, tanks, boss abilities etc

Raid difficulty and progression is a lot different than M+.
They’re a hard fail check as opposed to a DPS check enforced by a timer. Not sure how much interest there would be in wiping 20 times in a 5 person instance compared to just not timing it.
Nah. 5 players limits what mechanics can be designed. I thought 10m was fine though, and it annoys me that they’ve been putting out fights that don’t scale down to 10m in meaningful ways over the last couple expansions despite the raids technically scaling down to 10.

I would enjoy content that was made like UBRS in classic or Onyxia’s lair.
Basically a casual raid with one or three bosses. Something to do when your main raid isn’t going at it in progression kind of like that Odyn raid during the Nightmare raid. My guild at the time wasn’t really getting any further on mythic kills so that extra content was a life safer for my guild.
Mega dungeons with relevant rewards could be cool.

A five man raid is literally a dungeon.
The only difference between raids and dungeons in WoW is the number of players needed and the level of gear rewards.
I do have to say that putting the systems in place to turn all dungeon and raid content into the other would be interesting. If you go in with five people, it automatically sets to “dungeon” level. Ten or twenty five, and it sets to “raid” level.
The problem as I see it is the gear will still not match up. The whole point of raids giving better gear is because you have to get a group together to take them down.
For just expanded gameplay content, it’s a great idea. As a way to get better gear, not so much.

why not 5 man raids at least 10 i’d start raiding again. megadungeons garbage. actual 10 or 5 man raids same loot. i’m open for anything cause what we got now sure ain’t working shadowlands is all the proof you need.

The issue with this is the same issue they had with 10 and 25 man raiding but this would be even worse as you only have 5. Not every healing class has a dispel or poison removal or curse removal so then what do you do?
there’s ways around everything they just don’t want to while in 2022 alot people don’t even want to join guilds or even want to play with people idk i’d say it’s time for change after the biggest unsub ever at the start of shadowlands. unless there just happy with what they got lol. even 10 man raiding would do wonders right now.
If you are saying 10-20 man raids to be replaced by 5 man then I am for it . Way easier to manage 4 special ppl than 9 
while this is technically true, currently the game in no way comes close to pushing dungeons to the max of what they could be mechanically.
Are you telling me that Tyrannical weeks are not 5man mythic raids?

M+ just pressures you to blow things up faster and faster
None of the bosses are actually challenging or require that much of you
