don’t believe you. takes longer than 2 weeks to get bis. and raid gear doesn’t always have bis gear.
…how bad at Horde at raid bosses?
Apart from the first week (and occasionally the second week), I haven’t had more than 2 stacks on any boss in LFR.

I recommend joining a normal mode run. In 5 hours I could have cleared the whole raid twice that way, LFR isn’t worth the time.
In 5 hours, I wouldn’t be able to find a group for normal.

Exactly. And don’t forget you can’t even do it again until next week even if you felt like grinding out gear. Why LFR doesn’t have like 6-7 item drops per boss is beyond me because that would be a good way to gear alts, and bump up the other difficulties to 5-6 drops a boss.
This would be a bloody great solution, but I think it would just be easier to add valor to raids and expand valor to have their own vendors for gear like PvP do. So after 4-5 bosses of valor you can upgrade or just buy a new piece of gear and the valor from callings would also be useful for non dungeoners.

Absolutely the wrong response. The lack of accountability from the makers of a horrible game’s loot system is partly on statements like these that excuse the content creators.

This right here.
When you kill a boss, get no loot, you get a token from that boss.
Once you get 5, you can redeem that at a vendor for a piece of loot (specific to difficulty of your token) from that particular boss.
There’s just no other way around it.
I do get RNG. I do get everything about the history of wow and gaming in general, trust me. But times have changed. If you’re the player that didn’t get your 252 or BIS weapons on week 2/3 (let alone week 4/5/6, etc), you’re at a severe disadvantage to an equally skilled dps slot who did have the RNG gods shine down on them. For the most part, it doesn’t affect a lot of people, but it absolutely does affect some.

I believe you misunderstand how much vendors with currency was far better than the RNG in the vault.
It allowed you to buy the EXACT piece you wanted of you had the currency. It wasn’t a selection of RNG pieces lol

Not really. A normal pug would clear the raid faster than 5 hours. And you get 10 chances at gear. Plus 3 guaranteed choices in vault.
Expecting rewards from doing LFR content you can’t fail beyond like… Sylvanas AND KT is crazy to me.

What else is crazy to you? 
If they intend to move on to normal afterwards, then LFR holds some value. As the domination armor and gems will out perform mythic 0 gear. If LFR is the end of their raiding path, then you’re correct and they should just leave it be.
It’s nearly impossible to progress gear by raid logging.
In BfA with the casual old farts guild I’m in I was usually ahead of the guild via M+ and would put up 2-4 pieces of gear a week for rolls.
Think 4 pieces of gear is all I’ve put up all tier.

If you need LFR gear… would you even be able to get into a normal if you weren’t leading it?

I don’t raid or M+. I have my main at like 220 and an alt at like 215 just doing some Korthia quests and upgrading after a week or so at lvl3. Unless you are really into raiding and just want some up your toon’s ilvl, why not get Korthia gear that you can bring to 233 instead of normal SoD and definitely not LFR?
I do LFR once or twice for the story, to see the fights, and maybe for a quest. There seem to be much better ways to get gear than LFR. Maybe I just don’t understand/care enough about the raid gear and socket attributes to know why it is much better than Korthia gear.
Easier and faster to do normals imo/ime.
You can auto attack / just die in lfr and the boss will go down.
It is indeed horrible. My sub runs out in a couple days and I’m completely done with retail wow. Fool me 100 times, but I’m done. My responsibilities and gaming habits changed… this pile of poo is no longer worth my time for the little time I have gaming

I run keys on two toons they dont get sh@#t from the runs only time they will get loot is from the vault so yeah one bit of loot a week per toon been like this past 4 months lol
