The 5% gem we can socket does not update my movement speed when socketed in my character stats screen. It shows only as 3% movement speed (cloak enchant) when the gem is 5% alone.
Is this a bug? or is it functioning but just not showing in the stats?
That’s a prior expansion gem. Won’t work above level 50.
Generally, those things give the message of not working above level 50. Nor does the 3% or 5% ever show on the character stats even at/below level 50. Just have to depend on blind faith for the most part.
I’m not 100% sure you are wrong, but I’d expect that you are. Can’t tell for sure unless I re-equip a speed set and run a race with and without, but they still seemed to appear to work last time I was leveling with my speed set.
Weird thing is if you have the 5+ gem and add the 3+ to a another socket it take 1 away?? Just did that with my druid.hmmm.

It’s a different kind of “speed”.
At last check it still works just fine.
So nobody really knows huh…
If you use something like DejaCharacterStats you can see your actual movement speed and see that the 5% is applied. It definitely works at level 60, I just checked it on my DK.
