Also, would be cool if WoW had some kind of sandpit where you could test/create these kinds of things to play out the rotation etc.

Friggin sandpit for builds, with a gauntlet of mobs and maybe a PvP arena would be awesome.

sounds cool AF. I’d rock the hell out of this spec in the arena – assuming it were viable compared to other specs. This sounds fun and like far more thought was placed into how it plays compared to MM or BM at this point in time.

yeah man hunters should get a 4th spec while dh only have 2! we are hunters we deserve everything haha screw all you other classes who genuinely need real issues fixed!

Ideally, I think other classes should get their issues fixed as well, and I definitely don’t think DH should have released with two specs.

Funny enough, I do happen to play more than one class ^^.

They can’t make 3 good hunter specs lol… even they’re not insane enough to attempt a 4th.

I’m a little late to respond, but I just thought I’d point out that the tone of this response— in light of my experience on this forum— kind of shifts my opinion.

While I’m not yet in the 4th spec camp, I very mich disagree. Blizzard has made 3 good and unique hunter specs. Are there issues? Sure. But this forums has shown that each spec has its rabid fans, and RSV even in its absence remains a fan favorite. I doubt HSV could be less popular, or poorer performing, but HSV fans dont really seem to care, so 4th spec likely wouldn’t be the end of the world.

Again, not saying I’m all in on 4th spec, but I wouldnt want to be in this party anymore.

To emphasize this a bit, despite my strong opinions about the class, I definitely don’t think current SV isn’t valid or not cool. I actually think it’s a cool concept, and I believe Blizz wanted to expand the idea of the class fantasy for the hunter and what it could mean. I just think how they went about it was wrong and think this is the solution to solving community problems while causing the least harm overall.

I genuinely want the spec to excel and be improved upon. And, thank you, I respect your opinion, Maw

I like the 4th spec idea. Would be bummed if MSV got removed.

Not sure if you have played SWTOR but a hunter that plays like an Innovative Ordanance Mercenary would be awesome.
