this is going to sound strange but follow me along here. So remeber the bfa guys that like wore the robes and used like water and void magic? think they were called tide sages? could that be a cool priest spec if there is a fourth one? like throw water at people and transform into the squid people things or whatever the chad void things are with like the tentacles and stuff and they are big with like the octopus arms. so kinda like metamorphisis, you turn into the big void monster things and chase mobs and eat them. or like use your tentacles to like cast void portals or something? thoughts? and then in your normal character form you use water magic???
There’s some games where shadow magic and frost magic are connected. Also the notion that the depths of oceans hold dark secrets and in turn maybe dark magic.
tbh If Blizzard ever adds a new spec for the priest I would like on of these:
- Cleric → Holy light DPS caster.
- Void → Return shadow priest to what it was and create a new spec for Void thematic.

It seems we all have different ideas of what a 4th spec would look like. I’m in favor of a priest tank spec that uses personal absorbs. I know it would never happen, but it’s fun to imagine it.
I second this. I would LOVE a pure ranged holy dps.

I miss when shadow priest was more about shadow magic and less about void magic.
