So there’s a rumor going around about Gluths Decimation being able to affect any ‘in combat’ mobs (not just the skeletons) or players in within Naxx, and no limit to range. Supposedly a Chinese guild had a small skeleton crew pull Gluth and just before decimation dropped the rest of the raid pulled 4HM, and as decimation dropped the raid sappered the 4 horsemen and GG.
Is there any truth to this? I can’t seem to find a video showing it and I don’t know how to navigate Warcraft logs well enough to find it.
I doubt it. It was bugged to apparently do so really early in Vanilla naxx so people are probably just referencing that.

There were the reports at 60 of the effect hitting everything in the instance, with guilds having a skeleton crew tank gluth long enough for him to decimate the four horsemen.
One mage figured out to spell steal Bone Armor from the Death Knight Cavaliers.
Bone Armor: Encases the caster in bone armor, absorbing 1200000 damage for 1 min. While the armor holds, spellcasting cannot be interrupted by Physical attacks.
There was a mage talent called Incanter’s Absorption that read “When you absorb damage your spell damage is increased by 15% of the amount absorbed for 10 seconds.” Remember that the first boss of the military quarter is Razuvius. The mage just face-tanked him without taking damage.
The mage had a video where his or her crits were on the order of HALF A MILLION damage. Big crits in Wrath were more like 20k.
The mage was suspended for 3 days over this “clever use of game mechanics”, and all the loot was taken away. Personally, I would have let them keep it.
If you’re telling me that some chinese guild had the organization to do gluth, while managing all the chows, and still have the dps for it while SIMULTANEOUSLY
Also having the bodies to effectively do the 4h strat long enough for decimate to go off on Gluth…
Then honestly? Good for them, because they’d have easily just downed either boss separately.
This is honestly 100% what I was thinking, lol. Its not like it’s any faster for a speed run and if you can’t kill 4h normally you DEFINITELY dont have the coordination to split your team between the 2
I mean from the sounds of it you would just need like 30 on gluth doing the fight normally then right before decimate goes off you have the last 10 pull the 4h and sapper so the 4h get pulled and die instantly and then the people on gluth could finish the fight or just wipe and rinse and repeat on lotheb no protection pots required.
