45sec DB in DF

DB is 45sec now, up from 20.

But… general mage talents are gonna have mages be actual tanks yet agane.

And Fire is looking wild.

Sounds like bfa all over again

It’s actually so wild to me that DB was ever an 18 second CD.

Xaryu is currently screaming into his wheat grass patch.

I’m not counting these chickens yet

That guy is insanely delusional and milking the game/his viewers all he can before wow truly dies

I mean xaryu has always been delusional. Soloing people at 1800 doesn’t mean your great it’s that your class is so busted it’s easy to replicate.

He’s a great pvper but his takes are hilarious.

Hey man, don’t talk down to the guy that was mad at everyone for being a fire fotm fk and then 180ing on that in literally 2 weeks.

It still needs to move to incap or scatter/bursting disorient needs to come back.

Meh im glad they nerfed DB. Imo fire should never have become the pvp spec for mage to begin with. Braindead gameplay of cast db, get kicked on poly then cast ring, or get kicked on ring and cast poly. Add cauterize on top to make the only spec in game(since not all rogue used cheat death over elusiveness) to be immune to death.

But do we have access to talents for mages in alpha? Was wondering how frost is looking. Maybe even have deep freezd

Nah hunter scatter being on trap is fine. Now mm has intim so they are gonna be great and have wailing arrow in pvp.

Hunter still gonna die to rogues but that is life.

I hate giving up binding shot for scatter only thing that looks super terrible for marks right now.

Getting steel trap as marks and intim is def not a bad trade for binding shot tho.

Point was more about DB going to incap than scatter going to disorient.

I agree with the scatter/binding situation. More because as BM or SV, you will now be able to use postehaste + intim + binding or scatter and I think that’s going to be a problem because of the way that they play. Intimidation is one of the things I don’t know how I feel about for MM yet. Intim into wailing is going to be a crazy good kill condition. I don’t like how so much stuff is already tied to the pet, though. For marks specifically, you’re not going to be able to spend points on the pet durability talents and it already feels like too much utility comes from the pet for a spec that feels like it’s designed around not using a pet. Like, you’re still probably going to have to spend a point on LW to get to other talents that you’re going to want to use. I wish LW wasn’t a thing or that they’d move the pet utilities (MS, sac, freedom) to independent things that the hunter does instead of the pet, at least for MM.

I mean running pet durability stuff doesn’t seem necessary with Rez pet on a 3 second cooldown as marks. Just pick up exhil healing pet and you should be good to go with normal mend pet.

This is the first time I see double tap as not necessary for mm in a long while.

Wailing arrow side of the tree is just so much better for kill pressure where you can stop after surging shots and fire all right talents.

Like true shot and wailing arrow stuff is so much better than double tap and all that trick shot stuff in pvp.

Actually you can get everything you can possibly want with double tap and pick up volley nvm. My mistake**

Marks looks like it gets everything it wants outside of losing binding shot.

I think this is more or less what people are going to want to run as marks. I’m also curious if wailing will actually silence in pvp since the legendary did not work that way in SL. I’m guessing it will since it’s a final row talent now, but can’t really be sure.

Wasting too much up top though double tap is earned using three points to the left.

Losing some raw damage in aimed shot for double tap is def worth.

I def do like you going for chimera though, could be better than serpent sting and explosive.

Unsure though gotta see the damage in live

Don’t even really know what chim is going to be with it there tbh. The MD team defensive is going to be juicy too.

Oh and idk how it’s going to work in PvP. But mage is also getting a Mass Polymorph talent.

Why are we assuming the wailing arrow silence will work on players? It didn’t last raid tier.

I feel like that’s a little different because it was tied to a pve legendary.

Maybe it’ll have reduced duration in PvP, though.
